I got into x-men because of Liev Schrieber, but after I watched this movie I decided to go back and watch all the x men movies that came before to understand it better... (I literally didn't know anything about x men at that point), but here I am now years later a full fledged x-men fan!
The trailer is incredible, the Fox and Marvel logo filling up with adamantium is amazing m, and the music makes it definitely. It’s ALMOST as good as the Logan trailer… not by much, but still really makes you emotionally charged up.
If I had a nickel every time an X-Men trailer used the Sunshine music, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't saying much because Days of Future Past is way better, but still.
This trailer back then teased an R-rated movie so hard, it was so manipulative cause they knew nothing gratuitous was shot and knew the real story/direction of the movie, but its still one of the best/most effective trailers ever made so I forgive it and blame the movie for not having the correct vision rather than the trailer editors for putting together exactly what Wolverine fans wanted to see.

The color grading is SO much better in these trailers than the final film. They've really dated the film too, and butchered the lighting, where this appears modern and fresh. Weird.

At 1:10 as well… they seem to have made the claws with practical effects… whereas the movie claws are cgi crap! I love the x-men wolverine franchise (especially Logan) but the done this movie dirty in the end.
