I’m a longtime follower and I vote that you do whatever is easiest for you & least impactful doing your work so you don’t burnout or get bogged down. I think the jobs will dictate the videos. Big job - one video, several smaller jobs booked - compile into one. I’m just grateful you do them at all.

I enjoy the whole week. But, if you were to find a REALLY interesting job, a special just showing that job in detail would be wonderful. I still remember that one home with a garage in the middle of nowhere that had the massive wasps that you had to call a specialist for removal. Just keep being you!

You used to do more single whole jobs from start to finish and there was a sense of a journey in those. I think you’re more busy now and the business has more to do, so we get more things done each week. Both have a different flavor that are enjoyable. I think I prefer the one job vids more, but I don’t do the work so I wouldn’t presume to tell you how to run your channel.

Hi Sid, any videos buddy are golden. You mentioned 2 videos per week which i would say answers the question. One full day full length one you feel is the best largest job and the other a compilation of the rest of the weeks jobs. 👊🏼

I'd prefer daily videos and to see a job start to finish rather than several time lapsed. I also watch others who have two channels - one which shows the entire job in normal speed with actual sound rather than music over the top and their main channel which shows a more curated video with some time lapse and commenting over it.
Like others are saying, do videos how you like. That said, I do miss some of your older style videos. Just a nice full job, time lapse, some music, before and afters. I understand those were easier to do before, when it was just you. Now that you have a team it's harder to film the whole job, since you film your piece and not theirs, or you leave early or arrive later since you're working on other business needs. It would depend on how much time you have, but you could continue to upload vlog style, and then also upload shorter music time lapse videos. But again, that's totally dependent on your time, and if you would event want to. Do what makes you happy
Re your vans getting dirty, ceramic coating them should ensure most if not all of the muck comes off very easily. With a bit of research you can do it yourself. Alternatively there are ceramic sprays (I would recommend Gyeon Can Coat) that don’t last as long, maybe a year or so, but give similar repellancy and are cheaper and easier to apply. Just DM me if you want some more info. I’m a weekend warrior but happy to help! 👍

I agree with the bunch of the comments, do what's works best for you and we'll watch. Personally, I think a huge part of the satisfaction of watching your videos is, the start, the mid doing the work, and showing the end after the clean up and tidy up is done,(and sometimes after the re-sanding) that way 1 it highlights the amazing work you do, and 2 it's just super cool to see what the amazing transformations look from ground level. That's my two cents. (also side note, I'm not sure how easy or hard it is when you do the high speed footage, but doing a few minutes of realtime here and there really shows that it's not just an easy job and you're working your butt off!) But as always, keep up the great work, such hard working man you are! You're awesome.

Hope you're feeling better. First: no demands from me, you're a guy trying to make a successful business for himself and just happening to take us along for the ride sometimes. And that's plenty. If I had a preference, I'd say give us a mix. If it's an interesting building, or something unusual, make one video about that. But I also like the ones with snippets of multiple jobs showing the best (or most satisfying) parts or explaining or fixing your tools or whatever.

It’s weird I’ve been watching you for years and didn’t notice the change. When you were by yourself or with Kevin you weren’t as busy so we always saw jobs start to finish. Once you got super busy it felt natural for you to take us around to the multiple jobs sites. It worked either way.
Hey Sid i've been watching for a few years now! The perfect video for me is a satisfying cleaning effect of one property and what i would love is the before and after pictures at the end. I think doing one job completely adds to the satisfaction effect so i'd prefer one video of 1 job per time and also i think for you it's easier because you don't have to focus on filming that much. I do like the weekly videos too but it has less effect when you can't see the final end results etc. Hope this answer helps you in your decision. Whatever you upload i'll keep watching anyways! You're already working incredibly hard. Don't complicate your life to pander to everyone. Trying to please everyone all the time will end up you pleasing no one and burning yourself out. Remember you have a family who should be your priority, I love watching whatever you post.

I watch channels from a angle of how good is this being presented, one of the factors I consider is if somone is filming one part of something and then you never see it again, for me that's a fail, its like if Netflix release a new series but only the first few episodes are there then it moves to the next season and we never find out what happened, I like to see one project start to finish even if it's multiple episodes, I dont even mind if they aren't back to back, there is a satisfaction In it, whether it's a building job or a vehicle restoration, I can't stand it stopping half way when I was getting into it and looking forward to seeing it completed, I invested my time to watch, don't leave me hanging, start to finish jobs is my vote
1:42 The first few seconds of the new job were good. A fairly large load of moss and you instantly created a clean stretch. The final clean definitely stood out from the neighbors. You have had a heavy work load, with the flooding of your office, editing, seven-day weeks. We know that can precipitate illness, and lack of time with your family, so wishing you well. Power washing produces such miracles and prevents things as roof damage and injuries from slick paving. A fake drain was a poor thing to find. The new owner at least will now know he has an important "to do" as part of his rennovations. Will prevent future surprise damage. Water volume and pressure periodically comes-up. Seems like there isn't necessarily a chance to check it. 17:26, was fun to hear how experience enabled you to put a scaffold up where five areas could be reached without a move. (I'm afraid I was horrified with the fancy cars near the clean's overspray. Truthfully, I'd prefer the van because of all the incredible work that gets done with it.) I laughed when you showed the van covered in muck. That is a liability of your particular work. It's o.k., proof of work going on and done. 32:00 in, you have a good Grime Line. Apparently the wish is to have the place clean and showy. There is a distinct difference in having the wall top cleaned and any overhead view is now going to be a good one. 34:04, the low wall was one where you can't necessarily tell color is being lost but it sure is showing off well to have it done. That was a nice brighter look on the last place. (Wondered about biociding the white rock edges as they were beginning to go green.)
We're happy to watch whatever you want to put out Sid! The only thing I wanted to say is please use gloves when you clean out the gutters - you never know what might be in all of this growth and we don't want you to get injured.

Hey Sid, you have an amazing channel the way it is. So many other channels I watch try to push out daily Vlog's because they think it's best. What ends up happening is people get tired of watch crappy videos because the person uploading doesn't have the time to edit properly. Me personally, I have unsubscribed from many channels because of this format. You do what works best for you, but IMO, weekly content is baller. Don't fall into the daily Vlog trap!
I'm good either way, but I find it informative when you explain things while you do a job. For example, when you give the background or history or how the client found you or a repeat customer. This helps folks in business because you talk about good management, time skills, and how to relate to customers. You mention the good with the bad. It makes me think - hey, it's just not me! 🙂 I also appreciate it when you talk about different roofs and how to troubleshoot. Regardless, I'll keep watching.
1 or 2 videos a week would be great. But i feel its truly up to you and your schedule as to how much time you have to get them done. I'll enjoy whatever amount you do ! 😁
Parts I enjoy the most: - Repairs and breakages (interesting to know how it works and I like the guy who fitted your van) - Time lapse footage of pressure washing (satisfying to see it get clean), you could experiment with music here. I think for me this is a relaxing thing to watch before bed, a lofi kind of music could work well? - I love the final look around and seeing everything clean + your reaction and clear dopemine when you are finished + happy customers if they're happy being filmed - I do think it's worth keeping it as one job per video. If others are watching for relaxation or satisfaction like me then switching involves mental capacity or a kind of emotional investment in change if that makes sense. Would be nicer to go bit by bit and mix in clips of you talking. - Really do love your content and videos. Please take all of our advice constructively and ultimately do what works for you. If you're anything like me then if it becomes inconvienient you'll just give up entirely lol I also wonder if there are AI tools that could help with cutting footage. Might take out some of the grunt work. Work smarter not harder :)
Hey Sid! I have watched your content for a while from Canada, I see your progress and effort and we appreciate it. I see the future of your channel being similar in format to the american channel Matt's Offroad Recovery in style of shooting day-to-day work videos, with go-pro cameras "we got a call for a car thats stuck" etc. I definitely think bringin in some of the other guys on camera stuff would be a huge weight off your shoulders about getting us all the steps of a job even a quick intro clip with them and then a timelapse. you can even narrate over it in post. Its all a learning process obviously the main focus should be the work. Great job lads.

Personally, I like the individual jobs per video or maybe 2 per video, but as editing takes up so much of your time, it's really what suits you.

Weekly works for me. People forget the time involved in the video editor stitching things together. Its a job to itself.

Your giving your time making these clips/videos for your followers and we can see how busy you are through them. It’s weird I’ve been watching you for years and didn’t notice the change. When you were by yourself or with Kevin you weren’t as busy so we always saw jobs start to finish. Once you got super busy it felt natural for you to take us around to the multiple jobs sites. It worked either way.
Hey Sid i've been watching for a few years now! The perfect video for me is a satisfying cleaning effect of one property and what i would love is the before and after pictures at the end. I think doing one job completely adds to the satisfaction effect so i'd prefer one video of 1 job per time and also i think for you it's easier because you don't have to focus on filming that much. I do like the weekly videos too but it has less effect when you can't see the final end results etc.

Hey Sid, I’ve been a subscriber for years, your channel was super new when I came across it. It’s been so neat to see things evolve! I’m good with the current format. If a cool job comes along, then doing that as a separate one is cool (ie the tank).

You're already working incredibly hard. Don't complicate your life to pander to everyone. Trying to please everyone all the time will end up you pleasing no one and burning yourself out. Remember you have a family who should be your priority, I love watching whatever you post.

I watch channels from a angle of how good is this being presented, one of the factors I consider is if somone is filming one part of something and then you never see it again, for me that's a fail, its like if Netflix release a new series but only the first few episodes are there then it moves to the next season and we never find out what happened, I like to see one project start to finish even if it's multiple episodes, I dont even mind if they aren't back to back, there is a satisfaction In it, whether it's a building job or a vehicle restoration, I can't stand it stopping half way when I was getting into it and looking forward to seeing it completed, I invested my time to watch, don't leave me hanging, start to finish jobs is my vote
1:42 The first few seconds of the new job were good. A fairly large load of moss and you instantly created a clean stretch. The final clean definitely stood out from the neighbors. You have had a heavy work load, with the flooding of your office, editing, seven-day weeks. We know that can precipitate illness, and lack of time with your family, so wishing you well. Power washing produces such miracles and prevents things as roof damage and injuries from slick paving. A fake drain was a poor thing to find. The new owner at least will now know he has an important "to do" as part of his rennovations. Will prevent future surprise damage. Water volume and pressure periodically comes-up. Seems like there isn't necessarily a chance to check it. 17:26, was fun to hear how experience enabled you to put a scaffold up where five areas could be reached without a move. (I'm afraid I was horrified with the fancy cars near the clean's overspray. Truthfully, I'd prefer the van because of all the incredible work that gets done with it.) I laughed when you showed the van covered in muck. That is a liability of your particular work. It's o.k., proof of work going on and done. 32:00 in, you have a good Grime Line. Apparently the wish is to have the place clean and showy. There is a distinct difference in having the wall top cleaned and any overhead view is now going to be a good one. 34:04, the low wall was one where you can't necessarily tell color is being lost but it sure is showing off well to have it done. That was a nice brighter look on the last place. (Wondered about biociding the white rock edges as they were beginning to go green.)

We're happy to watch whatever you want to put out Sid! The only thing I wanted to say is please use gloves when you clean out the gutters - you never know what might be in all of this growth and we don't want you to get injured.

Daily or weekly either way. At the end of the day, it's your channel and it's impossible to keep everyone happy 100% of the time. Do what suits you and your schedule ❤
Hey Sid, you have an amazing channel the way it is. So many other channels I watch try to push out daily Vlog's because they think it's best. What ends up happening is people get tired of watch crappy videos because the person uploading doesn't have the time to edit properly. Me personally, I have unsubscribed from many channels because of this format. You do what works best for you, but IMO, weekly content is baller. Don't fall into the daily Vlog trap!

I'm good either way, but I find it informative when you explain things while you do a job. For example, when you give the background or history or how the client found you or a repeat customer. This helps folks in business because you talk about good management, time skills, and how to relate to customers. You mention the good with the bad. It makes me think - hey, it's just not me! 🙂 I also appreciate it when you talk about different roofs and how to troubleshoot. Regardless, I'll keep watching.
I like this format. I like the speed of the cleaning. Maybe could be a bit slower so maybe break into 2 weeklies

Long time watcher and I say you do you Sid. We are here to see what you want to show us.
Parts I enjoy the most:
- Repairs and breakages (interesting to know how it works and I like the guy who fitted your van)
- Time lapse footage of pressure washing (satisfying to see it get clean), you could experiment with music here. I think for me this is a relaxing thing to watch before bed, a lofi kind of music could work well?
- I love the final look around and seeing everything clean + your reaction and clear dopemine when you are finished + happy customers if they're happy being filmed
- I do think it's worth keeping it as one job per video. If others are watching for relaxation or satisfaction like me then switching involves mental capacity or a kind of emotional investment in change if that makes sense. Would be nicer to go bit by bit and mix in clips of you talking.
- Really do love your content and videos. Please take all of our advice constructively and ultimately do what works for you. If you're anything like me then if it becomes inconvienient you'll just give up entirely lol
I also wonder if there are AI tools that could help with cutting footage. Might take out some of the grunt work. Work smarter not harder :)
Hey Sid! I have watched your content for a while from Canada, I see your progress and effort and we appreciate it. I see the future of your channel being similar in format to the american channel Matt's Offroad Recovery in style of shooting day-to-day work videos, with go-pro cameras "we got a call for a car thats stuck" etc. I definitely think bringin in some of the other guys on camera stuff would be a huge weight off your shoulders about getting us all the steps of a job even a quick intro clip with them and then a timelapse. you can even narrate over it in post. Its all a learning process obviously the main focus should be the work. Great job lads.
