I can boast(which wont mean jackshit to most people) that not only have a flown in a De Havilland aircraft a number of times but it was De Havilland Canada's first homegrown design and built by De Havilland in Britain, Chipmunks of 5 AEF Cambridge :)
It's a great place. I visited many times when I lived in nearby Barnet. Except for the prototype, all the planes used to be outside! My late Uncle, Staff Sgt George Davis (Horsa Glider Pilot), signed the visitor's book beside the Horsa nose section.
Looks very cool to see three , I was just a Planes of fame Chino California today checking out the Avspec restored Mosquito owned by a Mr Summerset. and we will see two mosquitos by years end in California after the next Avspec mosquito is tested next week and shipped to the USA

Worth a visit and easy to get there Dave , 313 to Potters Bar then l think it was the 78 drops you off right outside , pubs are optional , Lol .
