What is the model number?

Guys It doesn't have a stainless steel (SS) drum .. Its just procelain coated drum. Plastic drum is durable than this coated drum. Even a hard descaling powder would damage the coating of the drum. So beware before purchasing this machine
SS drum is highly durable and sure this machine doesn't hav SS.. Its a steel coat which is known as procelain. Google about it..

2. Well, I had purchased another washing machine from LG last year. It is a 8 kg full automatic inverter washing machine. This one has a filter which needs to be cleaned after few wash cycles. The advantage in my 11 kg one is that I can wash blankets and a lot big items. So, I save a lot on dry cleaning bills, Oh, by the way, I wash my coats also in both these washing machines. I will post a review of the 8 kg washing machine one of these days. However, for purchase I will recommend you to go for any inverter top load model from LG as per your budget. Remember, you can use only 80% of the capacity, so buy accordingly. I forgot to mention, I have a family of 3 as well. 3. Water pressure plays a very important role in all washing machines. The pressure needs to be good in order for any machine to work. I have made several helpful videos which can help you further.

4. I will always recommend offline purchase. Online is only for areas where it is not available offline. I will do you one better. When you buy any product from Vijay Sales, check the online price and then negotiate with them. 99% of the time, they will match the online price after checking with their manager and purchase bill. I got this tip from my friends few years back and have successfully used it for several purchases.

Electricity consumption is low. It will remain same for any no. of clothes. Both detergent can be used.
If it's inbuilt heater, then why two separate inlets for hot and normal water?
There is no inbuilt heater in this model. Separate inlet is for connecting to a geyser.

Can you please let me know from where you have purchased the Washing Machine Stand.
I do see some stands/trollies available on Flipkart and Amazon. However most of them are adjustable and I doubt if they can withstand the machine weight.
Also they have a limitation stating that they are suitable for Washing Machines up to 8Kg load.

Don't use standies for washers more than 7kg capacity. It s nt recommended by LG. Stability s good only without standies

I don't have this machine. It developed a menu blinking fault recently. So, instead of repairing it I traded it with a new one. I bought a similar model. You can see its installation in my latest video

By the way tell me one thing , Have you tried single bed double layered blanket to wash in it? As i m sfraid coz i washed my full size 3 sets of curtains in it neechey wale curtain was in water and moving but top one half dipped so surf reh gaya and machine was not tumbling proper also so i rinsed that curtain in another cycle. Then comes out okay.
Well, I have washed everything that can be safely washed. That includes mink blankets, Dohar, razai, curtains, coat, blazers and the likes. There is one thing to keep in mind. Don't wash anything which does not fit properly and there should be some 10 to 20% space left for the machine to function. Rest, you can try.

Jet spray works when the foam too much gets created in the upper layer. It works to push the foam down with powerful jet spray of water. I do have the same machine 11kg i have seen it working. If u add excess detergent then after while washing foam will get in the upperlayer it will work to push down the foam hence not allowing it to touch the top cover of the machine

@@praveenrathore4449 Here is a simple solution for you which I have done myself. There is a 2 year warranty on this product. Buy an additional 3 year warranty from LG like I did right from the start. I bought this for my peace of mind for 5 years. After that, it is my luck but by that time my washing machine is fully covered. Do this for any product you buy in life. Always buy additional warranty. I have bought additional warranty for my TV, laptop, fridge, microwave and so on wherever it is possible.

Buddy Ovilla This is a method I know although I have not tried it. Press the POWER button to turn the washing machine off and remove the plug from the outlet. Locate the service panel on the bottom-left corner of the unit and open it. Unclip the drain hose and remove the plug from the drain hose to drain the water remaining inside the wash tub.

I mean someone in my near relation bought it under the impression that it has heater option as told by sales executive and even the higher price endorses this fact along with the fact that even in the manual it stated that allegery and whitening function provides 60c and 40c temperature respectively.

Inner depth is 40 cm and diameter is 19 cm approx.

@@TechyMandeep ok so the depth is 40cm and the diameter 48cm giving an inner tub volume of 73L. Max loading for such a machine if you expect good wash action is 50% or half that so 36L. It's easier to think in volumes than kg. So about 2 x 20L buckets of dirty laundry. Anything more would reduce the wash action and cleaning will be less.

Honestly speaking I never tried that option. I don't think I ever will in the future. Many features remain unused. However, logically you are right. It will use more water which is not necessary for most washing.

I did not see any energy consumption/rating value for this anywhere. For other washing machines, there's this x kwh/kg/cycle.
I don't have exact specifications but this washing machine has no heater and 6 amp plug. Power consumption is very low because of this.

I bought my machine from croma. 10 kg direct drive. I took 2 years extended warranty from them for rs 3000. Now LG person who came for demo said extended warranty is from croma only.. Not lg. From LG you have to buy separately when they come to install. They sell 3 years for rs 4200. Croma did not tell me This. Else i would have bought from LG directly at time of demo.
Aliya Arshad I bought mine from Sargam electronics. They clearly told me LG warranty can be bought from their personnel only. So, I purchased it from the demo person that came to me from LG. I got a 3 year extended warranty from LG for less than ₹3200. So, now my warranty is for 5 years in total. However, you need not despair as Croma gives excellent service. I once bought a Samsung microwave from them with their 2 year extended warranty. I called them two times and at one time they changed a major part also. No hassles at all with Croma warranty for me. Infact, I would say you need not worry. They are good.

LAIQ UNNISA If you are talking about machine installation, it is a simple plug and play. However, in India, we are not supposed to open and set up the machine for the first time. A service engineer comes from LG who checks the product for damage and installs it if everything is found ok. The warranty is void if we set up the machine on our own.
Wn does Jet spray functions in wash cycle? I couldn't see tat jet spray s functioning in any part of wash cycle..

Jyoti Sindhi Heater option is said to clean clothes better. But I really don't miss that option. The reason I bought this model without heater is to save electricity. Heater option will consume more than 2000 watts and requires 16 AMP socket whereas without heater model consumes 600 watts and can work on 6 AMP socket.

What is strong wave and spin why I cannot select air dry
Shakthi H strong wave is related to way the water will move in machine. This is not a dryer model so air dry option will not work.
To use air dry option, simply switch the power button on and press n hold spin button for 5 seconds, air dry option wil lit with default 1 hr programe. U can extend it to 2 hr pressing it again n again..
Water Wave function s during washing program, the tub n agitator rotates in same direction as lik spin function does and the wave s created out of it n it splashes on the top from the sides of the drum.

murthy rt There are many reasons why I would recommend a top load over front load washing machine.
1. Some are discussed in this video at 5:13
2. Front loading machines use 16 amp socket to plug in as opposed to 6 amp socket that top load machines use. So, a typical top load machine will use 450 to 600 watts as opposed to 1800 to 2000 Watts consumed by front load.
3. You can intervene and stop wash cycle in top load which will not be possible in front load.
4. If electricity goes and there is no power backup then your clothes cannot be taken out in front load generally. No such issue in top load.
5. Maintenance and parts are expensive for front load.
6. You have to bend and put clothes in front load. So, mostly ladies don't like it.
7. The drum capacity is always less in front load. So, if you have lot of clothes, then you may have to frequently wash.
8. Top load is cheaper than front load.

Contact the LG company on social media immediately for help. Tell them the service request nos. and your service problem. They will help. Meanwhile, check the drainage connection and inlet pipe for leakage. Is the drum damaged? Also, you are suppose to use only 80% capacity and not overload. I hope the drum is not damaged. Sometimes maid or cleaning person leave drainage pipe standing up while machine is working. This can also damage the machine. There is something called smart diagnosis through app. Have you tried that? There are so many reasons and I don't know where it is leaking from. So, try everything I have suggested.

You can try in delicate wash. But the machine should not be overstuffed. We have washed some light blankets overtime but heavy ones simply didn't fit.

Karandeep Singh Yes, you should contact LG technician. Also, sometimes the floor alignment causes these issues. A washing machine stand will help. I use one because of my floor alignment issue.

LG recommends not to use standies. Abv 7 kg capacity, it s nt recommended to use standies as it disturbs stability of the machine

Just remember, do buy the extra warranty on anything you buy whether it is laptop, oven, heater, AC, cooler whenever possible. I will make a video in future and share my experiences and tell how extra warranty saved me. For fridge, AC and washing machine I prefer LG because they have the best after sales service. Otherwise other brands also sell good stuff but their after sales service is poor. All the best 👍

gurpreet kaur You need to get in touch with LG customer care support for warranty information. Usually, if you go post 7 or 10 days of purchase, they might extend warranty but with extra charges. Also, use detergent liquid to wash clothes. I am using Surf Excel liquid detergent. Put less clothes while washing. The rule is 80% capacity of the machine. Don't fill the tub till full. Fill 3/4th tub. Try these steps. It should solve the lint problem. For TCL error, get your machine checked by LG. My LG service personnel had advised me to clean tub once a month by adding 1 bottle of vinegar and run tub clean. I am doing the same with no issues whatsoever. Also, don't forget to check your filter at the pipe that connects your machine. The filter can be plucked out with the help of a plier. Probably, the dirt on it is causing issues. It needs to be cleaned atleast once a month.

If you are going for similar looking model then RPM is 1000. Heater option will result in inflated bills. So, that is your choice.

My last washing machine was Samsung Top Load and I faced a lot of trouble like the dust fibre filter of the washing machine broke every now and then. Jagdeep Singh Ideally, it should not. But that machine is by default designed to work on a 16 amp socket which means it definitely needs more power to start and function.
It wont consume more electricity if u don't use steam function.

@@gopaljee5257 On a serious note, I just recalled there is no inbuilt heater to wash clothes in hot water. However, you can connect a geyser externally. That is not a negative point for me but can be for some.
How to clean the filter
No need to clean filter inside the machine. It happens automatically. The outer water pipe inlet filter can be pulled with a plier and cleaned by running water and soap.

@@raofamily9372 Sir, I faced lint issues while using detergent powder. I am using Surf detergent liquid for past 2 years. Now, there is no lint problem. Detergent liquid is best for washing clothes.

@@raofamily9372 Sir, I still use the same washing machine at my home in Bhopal. No lint problems whatsoever. I also purchased 3 year extended LG warranty. So, I have 5 year warranty and no tension of repairs. Whatever machine you buy, please buy extra Warranty from company. 👍🏻

Taking two hour is for steam wash.. In this process, it takes water level of 1n starts heating n produce steam out of it, this process takes time n once steam s generated it ll automatically fill the water level to predefined level n still water ll sustain its temperate and start washing asusual..

I am a happy user for than 2 years now. And I have saved lot of money in dry cleaning for last 2 years. Because all my coat, blazers, blankets, razai, Dohar, curtains and the likes have been washed in this machine.

I always recommend to go for extended warranty so that your machine is covered completely and repair can happen free of cost. If parts are not available in some particular city then I would suggest you to complain to LG on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. They will take immediate action.
