Nah, the 3D models used in the backgrounds in the first game usually were in a lower FPS, compared to what happens in the foreground. So already this is a major improvement over the first game!

Honestly Division 2, Battlefield 5 can go **** off. This is the game i have been waitin for so long. A sequel of the most awesome and most sad platformer game so far. From what is seen in the trailer its gonna be a really good sequel but lets not judge it before its released

As someone who loves bows, seeing that Ori gets to use one and on top of that it fires a volley of arrows... I need this game so bad.
Ori now don't have Sein so he has to use his own power and it's amazing. The scence at the end is so beautiful. But the moment i started to cry is the screen show "2019".

According to Mahler, even the writers of Will of the Wisps cried, so prepare for it to be an even bigger gut punch to the feels.

Sein is the eyes of the Spirit Tree, also Sein was the light that Kuro ripped from the tree - thought it was kind of obvious that Sein was going to stay in the tree (he wasn't even next to Ori in the last scene with other spirits appearing).
I suspected that the sequel would have to make new combat system due to absence of Sein, this gameplay trailer just confirmed it. Really hyped for those spears, bows and whatnot! Sein worked well (automatic locking on most dangerous enemies etc) but spamming the basic attack with autoaim isn't kind of gameplay that can be reused in several games :D
Hoping that the game is more sandbox-y with extra abilities! Definitive Edition allowed to get through older areas in different ways (mostly thanks to the "grenade" and dashing on it).
I have the first soundtrack so of course buy the next! This is my favorite game for a reson.

It's actually crazy how many mechanics and moments from this trailer were not in the actual game.
It always annoys me when developers never give what they promised. I’m not saying I disliked the game, but some regions in this trailer should’ve been included. The minecart scene being one of them.

The first Title was an Masterpiece in every direction. Loved it. I think this one could do it too.
Awe, Ori, Gumo and Naru adopted the Owl baby. Such heartwarming magic. I'm intrigued to see the Gameplay enhancements with it being a sequel and of course, the graphics look gorgeous! I could see myself being whisked away in this Ghibli-esque world! I loved the first game so I have no doubt that this will be better or at the very least on par with the original game.
Watching this I realized its possible all of them are the last of their kind except Ori now that the tree is restored. The other 3 may be though.
Visuals are absolutely gorgeous, more people need to acknowledge this game.

I do hope that this one will be available on Steam, for the first game 'kinda' thanks it's success and popularity to the Steam PC gamers. A wonderful game, but not releasing Ori and the Will of the Wisps on Steam would be a grave mistake.

Yoav: Does that mean it's the Xbox "Play Anywhere" thing? I'm assuming that when you play it on PC, it will connect to Xbox Live server for achievements and game saves and not through Steam. I hope they eventually release through Steam, though, maybe after the newness wears off and sales start to slow down.

You are welcome! Well, I believe that Sein actually _can't_ leave the Spirit Tree under any circunstances - she present herself as "The Light and the Eyes of the Great Spirit Tree", which I think makes her vital for the Spirit Tree. Since she was only following and protecting Ori around because she was actually taken away from the Tree, I believe she can't be separated from the Spirit Tree, they are two forces in one or something like that.
Seeing this trailer like it's a definitive edition version of Ori and the Will of the Wisps.

This was cut yes. These are the Gorlek Mines. In game, they are mentioned as the place the Gorleks fled to after the decay. It was cut because the developers said it wasn't as fun to play as the other areas.
