Yes, please do a your version of Fall Romance. I ordered the palette because I love the way it looks. I haven't used it yet. I probably should soon. I'm usually light- medium, more so medium side in summer. I want to use it before I lighten up lol. I like the looks you created though.
As someone who uses up to 7 palettes in a look, I would love to see your vision for this theme! I love when creators disconnect from branded color stories and really get artistic with their supplies! Do you ever use mixing medium to create custom shades? I'm just getting into that side of makeup and having so much fun! I understand why costume & theatrical artists use it a lot, but it's also perfect for mixing up an everyday custom shade or intensifying a lackluster formula. And so cheap!

Great review! I actually like the smaller amount of reflect in some of these shades. Most shadows are either too matte or too glitter so it's kinda nice for just a bit of glitter for those of us that don't want to go too hard either way. The formula looks sad though. Thanks for saving me money

I just ordered this palette. It looks stunning in the pan..u made beautiful looks out of it. I know it looks tricky to get the desired effect but u really created just stunning looks...beautiful ❤

Before you even said "muddy" that is exactly what I was thinking of the darker shades. I feel like it had so much potential. Instead it looks like something they just threw together. Too bad. Love that green sparkly shade tho on your eyes! So pretty! ❤

I like how the little glitter particles in the first brown shade didn’t just blend away to nothing. You could still see them glimmer after you’d blended them. I love the burgundy outer and wish there were more burgundy type shades inside.
Edit: the glitter bits just didn’t show up in the ember shade… I wonder why, when the first shade was so good? I’d love to see you recreate the palette as you thought it would be. Great idea 😊

Thank you for swatching mulberry, I was wondering if they were similar. I prefer smaller pans, more shades. I have too many palettes, bigger pans are wasted on me. Love your eye looks. ❤

More shades and brushes please! I agree totally with the shades too, although the duo chrome did get pinkish on blended outside and a tiny glittery effect but pearl shift? No! I’m sad as I would love an ABH palette to work for me but I have yet to get one 😢

For some of the reasons you don't like this palette as much, I'm considering picking it up! I pass on sooo many palettes because 1/3 of them will look ashy on me. I find that smokey (smoky?) palettes tend to look more 'natural' on me because they have a lower contrast to my skin tone. I'll still probably wait to swatch it in store and watch other reviews to see everyone's thoughts on the formula, though. Thanks for your detailed nuanced review and, of course, the inspiration for eye looks you always provide :)
Mine will arrive tomorrow!! I'm not one for dark looks but I've saw some reviews that did really soft looks that was beautiful so I caved as well and bought it!! Lol I was going to pass but I've really been missing abh so I bought it! And it looks gorgeous for fall!! 😊

Go watch allie glines with this palette, it's completely different. As in, don't let a person who most likely isn't your skin tone and does makeup prob different than you to be a deciding factor. Go in-store, swatch for yourself. As you can do more with it, play with it. Allie is fair light skin toned.

i dont like ABH, but YOU make ANY palette look beautiful and great thats the truth, the shades are NEVER what she says it is, ill never give money to ABH, rather give to true color , id love for u to make your own fall palette thingy
I bought Soft Glam way back when because of Mulberry. I couldn't find anything like it as a single. I'm glad it's different, repeating it wouod be a bit cheap, especially as so many of us collect the ABH palettes.
The Leather actually is actually a great base for me and blending out because of my darker skin tone I also use the lighter and lightest tans etc., for blending out and as a transitional the whites and creams are to light unless I’m doing brighter cool shades but with warms and neutrals I can’t use white or light creams
I’d rather have more shades as opposed to bigger pans. I regret buying Cosmos and Rose Metals, so I’m skipping this palette.
I ended up giving my nouveau away, the formula was so patchy. I miss the old palettes too
@@Ljconna Soft Glam is my favorite. I will buy that again and again until they discontinue it. I wish I could take the matte brown out of Rose Metals and replace that horrible glitter brown in the Nouveau. I’m afraid of ruining the palettes if I try to remove the pans.
I’m just now thinking of buying the metals one. I don’t mind not having a lot of shades but are the colors in there nice? Do you like it?
@@Tracylyn42 I don’t care for it. Definitely a palette purchase regret of mine. If your skin tone is a lightish-medium to deep, you might like it. Watch some reviews before buying if you haven’t already. Wish I had returned mine. I use the matte brown from it when I occasionally use my Nouveau. Defiantly skip the Cosmos one.
Wow! I'm honestly in shock! I have Rose Metals, Nouveau, and Cosmo and I love them so much! I get so many compliments when I wear them. I actually prefer this new formula to the older one because they blend with no effort. Could it be the base you're using? Or I just got lucky? I'm wearing Rose Metals right now and I absolutely love it.

I think with the green shades that looked grey, the purples with midnight as the lid would look 80’s amazing?

I respect your opinion on this palette, but the looks you created are SO beautiful!!! I feel it's the colour descriptions and confusing online pictures that didnt show the colours true to life that makes this palette a bit of a let down, but I wonder if it will grow on you!

I think you started out with a negative feeling... looks incredible on you and it sold a palette I was buying either way. It has a lot of light shades and dark, yes but that's very in right now... sort of an iridescent grundge look very beautiful on you.
I was so happy you said you weren't crazy about this palette. I'm going to skip it, too. It just doesn't call to me, but if it had called to you, I probably would have gotten it just because you did lol.😜😂 You and I have basically the same taste. Dang, that's a bummer. I'm looking for a palette that has some green, berry, burnt red/maroon, and gold colors and I thought this palette could be it. But if the greens aren't really green... I'll pass.

I do NOT like the larger pans I would definitely want smaller pans & more shadows and the brush. I also dont like how it swatched, only a few colors swatched smoothly and the glitter in the "Matte" shades I believe to be a top coat on the shadow maybe? You did a fantastic job considering the workability of this palette!

This ABH pallet is the first I have ever purchased.
I bought the rose metals palette and didn’t really like it. I’m glad for this review because I think I’ll save my money and not get this one. 😊 btw the last look turned out really pretty. I didn’t think that lavender shade would work with the other shades, but it really brought the look together. 🤗

Angela, I went to Ulta to buy the new Maneater eyeshadow pallet from Tarte and they didn't have it. I bought the Tarte Big Ego palette which I like. Would you do a look with the Big Ego pallet??
Tbh I saw that palette in Ulta and I wasn't wowed by it. I've never liked Tarte's formula so I'm not gonna get it
I was really hoping the palette would be lovely. Do you think the formula is a lot different to her normal formula, and the sparkle added to make it easier to blend 🤷♀️
I feel like the formula is a tiiiiny bit worse than her other formulas. Not that this formula is BAD, but I just wasn't impressed like I usually am with her shadows
I do want to see your perfect fall romance. I decided to skip this palette. I don’t wear a lot of green and I already picked up Viseart Dark Mattes, which has a similar vibe, but all matte.
I like the third look. The formula seems a little drier than ABH Nouveau. I wasn't impressed by this palette either. Thanks for reviewing the palette and swatching the colors.✔️❣️🥴❣️❗
