- Ted must nurture Chris the Sheep through the King of the Sheep Festival while a beast terrorizes Craggy Island.
Beloved sitcom focused on three priests living on Craggy Island, a remote island off the west coast of Ireland. Father Ted Crilly is sent to the island as punishment for using charitable funds for a holiday in Las Vegas, but his true punishment comes in the form of Father Dougal Maguire and Jack Hackett, one a fresh-faced naive young priest, and the other a foul-mouthed, rage-filled alcoholic. Mrs Doyle is their nosy housekeeper, who makes plentiful pots of tea and never takes `no' for an answer. Despite their isolation, the priests get into their fair share of mildly sinful, entirely madcap adventures.

So happy that got past the censors - this is my all-time favorite episode for so many reasons...my stomach hurts by the end of the episode from laughing so much!
The fact that that exact same soundbite is used twice in a row during Ted's spiel there makes it even funnier!

This was the episode where the show really started to go off the rails in the best way possible. I mean, the first two seasons were surreal and hilarious but season 3 just takes it to eleven. 🤣

Father Damo is one of those people who could stab you in the back and influence you to do bad things. This is what Ted tells Dougal at the end of the episode and asks Dougal if he learnt anything for what has happened, Dougal says "No". Dougal hung out with the wrong person.

He said that as a priest he had an intuitive understanding of "sheep" meaning the people that the people that follow religion more specifically Catholicism are sheep
@@AlinxavierI don't think he meant it in a derogative way, it was most likely that he truly thought he had an intuitive knowledge of sheep, or because he is a priest, he acts as a shepherd (which is a biblical symbol)

Father Ted should be known as Father Awesome. Such a funny show.
Apparently this is one of Graham Linehan's least favourite episodes. I can't understand why, it's funny and well-written just like all the others, and you can actually hear the audience whistling and cheering at the end!
Really? It's hilarious! The only two episodes I'm not a fan of are the Lent episode and the one where Ted falls in love with the author.

I love this show. We'll just forget about the fact that once Chris goes to stay with Father Ted, the sound equipment should have been taken down - they don't want to run him down again once Ted got him back up. But, plot twist.
