Father Ted has some side characters with the best delivery anywhere. The "I'll be out in a minute!" line is one of those things that pops in your head from time to time, same as "those are fake hands!" and so many others.
4:31 Frank Kelly's acting is too damn wonderful. All he does as Jack is yell swears but you can tell just by how his expression changes slightly he's going to force Ted to take him on a picnic. The cataract eye only makes him look all the more scary when he glares towards him. And the whole joke at 4:50 is so simple but great, especially with how Jack knows he's caught and loves it anyway. 4:44 How many times in his series has Ted been knocked in the head by something? XD 12:45 It's amazing they showed Street Fighter in this. Dougal being the one to play it too makes too much sense.
The sheer pettiness of that couple who went and harassed Ted is honestly something that I can see happening, as stupid as they sound for talking like that.
What about this you think wouldn't be okay to someone on the left? If anything the irreverence is more likely to anger someone from the opposite political spectrum... Did you fell asleep while watching each episode and dreamed what it was like? Should we show you the chart from the first episode?
