If you are a motorcyclist, you are probably familiar with motorcycle clubs or may already be a member of one. Motorcycle clubs are basically groups of riders with similar interests. A group is formed based on different factors, including location, culture, social background, gender, etc. Some motorcycle clubs are formed for riders who love a specific motorcycle brand. There are also motorcycle clubs to particular demographics. I am a member of Iron Bred MC in Atlanta, and this is where I live. I hope this video helps you if you're considering quitting your club.
Definitely have the same mindset. I’m an introvert. 37,000 miles on my bike and maybe have ridden 1000 of them with other riders. I shy away from bullness and just enjoy the ride. Stay safe and that 278 is very familiar
Sounds like you were involved in a very wrong club. I’m happy you made the decision to leave. “I can’t believe I lived like that” rings loud and clear to me. 💪🏽👑
Possibly the wrong club...id say. The fact youre watching this video means youre looking back and missing the idea of, or elements of, what you had. Look for the right type of club/brothers and i hope you get that hole filled.
I'm filled with happiness to see this content you have posted as it will inspire some to keep pushing through adversity and not quit so easily, Always Remember "Iron Shapens Iron as another Brother Shapens another"...
This video was for me. I've been considering joining a club for awhile. When I start following you, I made up my mind to join a club but I didn't want to jump in just a club just to say Im in a club. You're speaking facts bro and it's directed towards me in a good way. You have a good spirit. Hopefully we cross paths soon brother. I would love to check out the brotherhood.
I've been where you have been Brother, as was Expressed to me, "You see the Things that are wrong, you see where improvement is Needed, you are aware where this Brotherhood should be Headed,Being on the Outside to make the changes will not be beneficial to yourself or the Brotherhood.Put forth your path within the structure to make a Positive Difference " I understood at that point,Being a loner as well, its not about Me, but Us,to also Fight for what I committed myself too and Make it Greater. Brother,I see the Positive Energy of those that Surround you, with each Input was instrumental in Guiding you on Making a Sound and Stuctured Decision,We all need to Surround Ourselves with that Energy.....Big ups To you and those around you my Brother. Keep the Rubber Side Down Brother and Hope to Cross paths on the Lonesome Highway 💪😎
I used to be a part of a fire fighter and first responders club a few years ago, but I made the decision to leave as it just wasn't for me anymore. It wasn't the club itself that helped me make that decision. It was more of my at home life that was near nonexistent anymore, and all my time and effort was strictly club life.. At the time, i just had a daughter, and i wasn't able to find that delicate balance between being a father and a club member and was only left with 1 decision. Leave my club and be the father my daughter needs or be a part of the club. There wasn't enough time for both... sure, i miss the club every day, but being a father to my amazing daughter means more to me.

We’d go out and I’d forget somehow basic shit I KNOW. I knew what I’d be supposed to be doing. And why.. but I’m just so set in my ways . One day I got pissed off bc they left my ass at home bc the day before I had the audacity to ask my P if he wanted me to come get him bc he was way late and on the phone sounded like a lot going on by his crib. Thank you brother I Ride motorcycle hair and Baltimore I am from Barbados I was looking at your Jamaican patch Earlier last year was about to quit My club Because Of want someone said to me But the club asked me not to quit and write him a letterI am still in the club and doing good Thank you for your message
Hey what's going on. 1st I would like to say this video is awesome an I hope it reaches many ears, 2nd the topic hits home for me it's a fight to keep your brothers on the right path but well worth it I refuse to give up on a bro, as bikers we all are different and difficult at times that's probably what got us all into riding in the 1st place, but the memories we make (some good some bad) last forever. In my opinion when you get real brotherhood in your club it's like ZEN you move and act as 1. Just my 2 cents thank you again for posting this.
Awesome video. Your story resonates with me on all levels from marriage to MC clubs to life. We have a lot in common. I look forward to meeting you at run to the hills.
Just lik me, i lived in ny n was riding sportbikes then a metric cruiser yamaha raider xv1900, moved to pa n everyone i met was on sportbikes or harleys. I went to daytona bike week 2 months ago n realized i neede more of a long distance bike wit bags. So I just bought the 2024 roadglide n im loving it.
Enjoyed some great rides with my last club and met some really nice people. Unfortunately, an internal click with 2 members putting a mark on my back with vailed threats of physical harm made it impossible to continue in this chapter. Ironically, I don't recall ever having any discussions or much to do with these guys. I try to get along and have a rule I follow that if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything. Guess they just didn't like me for some reason or think I fit in. Trying to decide on going back to just being a solo rider, find another chapter or club. Last ride (3 days) was a nightmare where the attitudes really came out and I was glad to get home. Most of the members are really nice and friendly but I can't deal with these few and don't want to carry a weapon while looking over my shoulder on future rides. Riding should be fun and relaxing with others in the same spirit. Thanks for a positive view, which I needed right now.
Excellent perspective i been riding 10+ not counting my youth have hanged with a few clubs but no prospects I SEE IT ALOT LIKE U RIDE FIT NATION im a loner never married no kids im just used to being by myself also military vet im used to making my on moves im 50 GOD given years in the game i like what u said i have felt the same who knows maybe join MC one day excellent perspective bro and to all the bros MC and INDEPENDENT STAY SAFE AND KEEP THAT RUBBER TO THE ROAD
I decided to quit my riding group of the FOE organization, I decided to because of a few reason that I felt that the club got political and fail on their mission. Your right , you can’t or won’t be able to please everyone, but when your told to comply with the club leadership without questions? It not me .
I helped start a club years ago, nothing crazy, no 1%ER BS. I did it to be apart of something. It ended up being like another job to me. I just wanted to ride and ride with people. But it just turned into an obligation. I got enough of them.
Well I'm prospect for IMPERIAL BIKER CLUB M.C. IN BROOKLYN NYC WE ARE NOT OUTLAW CLUB BUT WE DEF DO GET ALONG WITH MAD DIFFERENT CLUB WITH ALL RESPECT, IF ANYONE WANT TO BE PART OF IMPERIAL BIKER CLUB Y'ALL WELCOME ANYTIME ALSO WILL LOVE THE IMPERIAL FAMILY MARK MY WORD ON THAT ONE, THAT HOW I LOVE MY IMPERIAL CLUB THEY TREAT ME GOOD AND KEEP A TRUE LOYAL TO ME THAT HOW I HAD SO MUCH FUN WITH THEM BASE ON TRUE STORY
Ous Sensei, I tried reaching you before. You had asked me about Professor Cowboy. I told him about you. I also interviewed him on my page. If you like I can connect you with him. Live your videos
I quit my last MC due to the lack of many things in the club lack of character lack of membership drives and lack of rides. Didn’t trust the president or the national committee.
If you were nothing before the patch, you’ll be nothing with the patch. I have no problem with clubs ( theres good and bad clubs as with anything in life ) i have a problem with titels. People in clubs thinking 🤔 they are more important than others because they prez, vice etc. You are there to make the club better , to work for the club . Bottom line , a club can be good for you , or be your downfall. First ensure you are strong and happy with yourself before trying to get happiness from a club
Clubs have rules and regulations. I have a lot of club members who are friends, but I'll never wear a patch because I don't like rules. I don't like being told what I'm gonna do. I'm all about a good cause, but as a man, I gotta do everything on my own terms. No disrespect if you're in a club, but it's not for everyone? I have Brothers and sisters I can call, and they will always answer no patch needed...
I’m X MC. There’s times I really miss it. But I’m glad I’m out. MC clubs are slowly dying out. They not all that. To much club crap, it’s a head game thing, the mandatory meetings, mandatory club rides. Then there’s the drama of other clubs that don’t like you you have to deal with, watch out for, etc… then at some point you going to wear the doughnut support club for the big clubs or get shut down. The negatives far out way the positives of being in a MC.
I've never felt the need for joining a club. Those that do, I have no beef with them, so long as they are not trouble makers. Unfortunately, most clubs are.
Aliens will never fit in. however we have special qualities about ourselves that will attract and turn heads whenever were around. the humans that dont understand you will either adapt or move on...you stay true. peace
Gm big bro ...I hope u have a great day . I love your video .. the more I watch and listen to u the more I realize how much we are the same in so many ways , especially about avoiding drama and being a loner at times ,
Riding groups are not even associated with clubs. Clubs are for muppets who are dependent on others telling them how to live. A real riding “club” is made up of people with a similar interest like racing, customizing, acting like an idiot……..even if the people wouldn’t hang out normally they get together to do whatever. I once was part of two riding clubs, we called each other on Friday to see if anyone was riding that weekend, no fing patches, no chain of command, no colors, none of that. A real M/C does not demand anything from “members” other than enjoy the ride. No fees no bullshit. If you are a strong willed person, you run your life your way, weak willed join stuff like this because they are not strong enough to not be led around by others.
Seems what your saying is alot of extra problems to deal with being in a Club along with your family and work life....Thats why i never joined a Club( riding street bikes since 1979)...Dont like BS , Drama and Politics...PS...I am a Honorably Discharged USMC Vet....And thats enough of joining anything that will last me a lifetime...
What I’m saying is you will find BS, drama and politics pretty much anywhere in life. So it’s important to choose what works for YOU. Thanks for your feedback Brad.💪🏽
Naw, I’m good. Not interested in being a club member. Too introverted. I’d rather ride alone. Can go as fast or slow that I want to go. Cruise below the speed limit on a ZX-14R..? Yep, btdt. Haul ass on a GW..? Yep, btdt. I love riding to the level of my happiness and contentment. Group rides hardly ever meet my ride style. Especially if they are newer riders and think they have to prove something. Then it’s me scrapping up their body parts.
Mc “clubs” ain’t no clubs just call it what it is, it’s a gang. I ride but I’m not going no gang my brother is a president of a mc “club” in Pennsylvania I’m not dropping no names but it’s 100% bullshit to say they are clubs. It’s gang shit goes on and do some good things to keep it under radar
Sheep can't stand being 'alone' or independent...they always need to be in a herd. Initiation procedures are to vet the level of 'sheep-ness' by those that control the 'club'. Slavery is the opposite of FREEDOM Motorcycles are all about personal freedom...not conformity. Clubs are all about 'conformity'. Think about it.
MC is Motorcycle Chapter, yeah and a Club is not a Hells Angels Chapter and gets the abbreviation MCC. You need to straighten out the Title first before trying to straighten folk out, coz you're creating confusion by telling Newbs mis-information.

Well said. There are many feeling this way but don’t know how to juggle correctly. Your words are true
Wished I could've heard these words of wisdom 3 years ago when I left my club!! Very powerful message!
Great advice! 59 years old and I have just learned this lesson in the last few years. New sub here!
Great decision my brother. It’s hard for me to quit and walk away. Because once I’m in I’m all in. Love you my brother
Love you too brother

Man.. What u said in the vid so far (12 min in) .. fkn speaks to me.
I always been a loner. I ride bc I need to. I ride all weather everywhere I go. Sometimes gotta cage bc I live in Chitown. Or my ole lady needs to go with me somewhere and she won’t ride with me if it’s under 70*. She a warm weather chick.
I met a guy who would become my brother. Met dude at Hd dealer. We hit it off. Stayed in contact and met the club he was prospecting for at the time. Met these men and it’s such a random group of men. All walks of life and backgrounds. Couple white dudes. Mostly Mexican dudes but who give a fuck we all red on the inside. They invited me to roll
With em that day. Never rode in a pack before. Man these guys …. I am a good rider. But nothing prepare u for being so close in a pack going 90mph on those chi town highways bro.
They were like the wind. Tight. Move as one. In line prob 15 feet off the man in front of me 🤦♂️.. 15’ then felt like 3… Stick around for a bit then split off when we stopped. Hands cramped from hanging on tight. I ride fast but not used to that style.
Hung around a couple months and then prospect. I am a loner. I love being with my ole lady. I like to chit chat to ppl at work and when I’m out. And I love my little brother. Biological brother. But other than my wife and my brother I prefer to be alone.
The club …. They all a couple years older then me but not much but I’m like the little brother. Rough around the edges. Eccentric as fuck. Knucklehead minus the fist fights.
Sometimes I’d get up and be like man… I don’t wanna do this shit. Just wanna go back to my old ways of doing what I want when I want and fuck the world.
But every time I would spend any time with a brother I came home and was like this was an amazing day/weekend/night .. whatever.
We are a very traditional MC. Follow all protocols and such. Including how a prospect is to act and carry himself. But we also smaller and tight so as a prospect I was treated as a brother. One day I got pissed off bc they left my ass at home bc the day before I had the audacity to ask my P if he wanted me to come get him bc he was way late and on the phone sounded like a lot going on by his crib. Thjng is.. mc tradition says sit your ass home and waits don’t be asking questions and overstepping.
These guys all were very close by this time. My best friends. But still had to at the same time follow tradition of chain of command and stuff.
So I’m like yo this ain’t working.
So I talked to my Pa (daddy, sponsor .. whatever u wanna call it).. said yo this ain’t for me. I love u guys. I love whst we do but I’m never gonna “get it”.
He was like ok. So what’s your plan then. (These guys have been a good influence to me. Kept me in line.. with love and example not thru being a dick or something). Said who u gonna ride with. Said I know u gonna miss flyin with us. U gonna go ride with some sloppy ass riding club? And u gonna go back into old habits in life.
Met with all the club and told them what me and my daddy talk about.
They were just bustin my ass a bit more bc I was getting close to that patch. Was 180 or so days into prospecting. I didn’t want them out my life. U can’t make those true bonds and just walk away from that. I just sucked at the club thing. They pretty much said they love me for who I am. They know I’m a fkn eccentric knucklehead. But needed to demonstrate I can do what a prospect does so I can pass it down when it’s my turn to teach. And pass down tradition.
They were right. As usual. After that it clicked. Was patched in 3/8/24.
I need that accountability in life. When left to my own devices.. I get stuck in my ways. I go back to being alone who wants to be left alone and when I feel like someone gettint too close I bounce .
Do I always want to be in the Mc. No.
Do I need to be there. Ab-so-fucking-lootly

Perfect mix of disfunction...... CLASSIC!! Words to live by.
I’m glad you made this video. I’m in the prospect phase of joining a MC. I have experienced a lot of frustration during this journey. I know that my frustrations are with the chapter. I’m being patient and trusting in the process because of what the club does nationally. Again thanks for sharing this video.
Keep it going and definitely trust the process. As long as they are not challenging your manhood and asking you to do things that are questionable.
@@ridefitnation They don’t do anything degrading or challenging. They just don’t ride much. I’m a long distance rider and that’s what I’m looking for.

I'm glad I didn't quit this video lol
Ous Sensei, I tried reaching you before. You had asked me about Professor Cowboy. I told him about you. I also interviewed him on my page. If you like I can connect you with him. Live your videos
OUS brother James. I’m watching the video now. Shihan Cowboy is the truth. Email me ridefitnation@gmail.com or call me 404-971-0458
Good video.
Thank you Vernon
I was looking into one but then found out you have to pay yearly. That was the end of that for me.
I quit my last MC due to the lack of many things in the club lack of character lack of membership drives and lack of rides. Didn’t trust the president or the national committee.
I would never belong to any club that would have me as a member .
Id0n't ride but as a Yardie I am onboard as a new sub
man let me do some kind of artwork for your club for 2K so I can buy the spike I want to get 🔥
Clubs have rules and regulations.
Actually most clubs are not. It’s the 1% clubs that are typically the problem 99% of the time.
Aliens will never fit in. however we have special qualities about ourselves that will attract and turn heads whenever were around. the humans that dont understand you will either adapt or move on...you stay true. peace
All facts! All I know how to do is stay true. There’s no other way my brother. 💪🏽👑
Gm big bro ...I hope u have a great day . I love your video .. the more I watch and listen to u the more I realize how much we are the same in so many ways , especially about avoiding drama and being a loner at times ,
I appreciate that Richard. You are my little brother by blood and I love you man.
together we stand with the King's dream and the Gadsden and the American flag in Uunity!
I just ride with friends (i ride adv) i am however in a off road club that does alot for the forest service and keep trails open and stuff.
After listening to you, I know you would love to be a m3mber of the bandidos or the hells angels! They are just your type.
Im a loner i don't need reinsurance from anyone.
But some correct terminology education may help. *reassurance
@@ridefitnation Of course thats true...But you can find more than your share by making unwise choices....
You’re talking about an outlaw mc not the majority of clubs that exist.
I feel like quitting due to all the bullshit and politics on the set.
Sheep can't stand being 'alone' or independent...they always need to be in a herd.
Initiation procedures are to vet the level of 'sheep-ness' by those that control the 'club'.
Slavery is the opposite of FREEDOM
Motorcycles are all about personal freedom...not conformity. Clubs are all about 'conformity'.
Think about it.
Think about that you don’t know what you’re talking about. In fact your comment is just dumb.
MC is Motorcycle Chapter, yeah and a Club is not a Hells Angels Chapter and gets the abbreviation MCC. You need to straighten out the Title first before trying to straighten folk out, coz you're creating confusion by telling Newbs mis-information.
When you need to ride with other hack slow riders, then a club is for you.
