I’m actually trying to get better at taking solo trips, so can I ask you how you found all the experiences that you partook in and were you using Ubers to get around?
Javica Terry Aww thank you! Airbnb experiences are my go-to! Then there’s the “must sees” that everyone posts like the swing, I ask locals for experience tips (sometimes they know people who do certain activities at a lower fee too! & Facebook groups! In Bali, make sure you stay in an area with Gojek and Grab those are cheap motorbike transportations. I don’t think Bali has Uber, but definitley double check! I used a personal driver that worked for my villa which was pricey for a solo traveler!

I’ve seen literally hundreds of vlogs and I think most vloggers who vlog in Bali never look beyond the surface and I loved that you interacted with the local people and showcased some of their culture and spirituality. You are only 20 n yet u have a real depth and maturity so I think wotever u choose to do in the future, u really will make a difference. I do hope u come back n spend more time in Bali. Yay glad you found it too🥰 At the time Qatar was the cheapest and I flew to Thailand first but use Skyscanner and Google Flights to see what airlines will get you there the cheapest from where you live. U.S. citizens didn’t need a visa pre pandemic when I went!

Thank you! And not really I do remember small caterpillars and crickets but not really around the outdoor shower. My biggest issue was ants on the front porch constantly so after I was done eating it got really bad
Sorry for the late reply! I recommend saving up to $1,000 for the flight to Bali depending on where you are flying from in the U.S and $800 is enough to be safe once there depending on how long you will be there (not including accommodations). There's a lot of factors but $800 would do you AMAZING in Bali like for a week of activities you could have half of that ($400) still left over honestly. It's all about budgeting and how you travel! Hope that helps :)
Alexis Zellner Make it happen ❤️👏🏾 & I had to hire drivers mostly which I asked the people at my villa to schedule for me then got there numbers on WhatsApp so whenever I needed a ride I just hit them up (If it’s just you I wouldn’t recommend hiring drivers, look at my blog post for why) Also very safe! Girl I loved it everyone was nice, I never felt unsafe even at night, good vibes!
