Thankyou for this, it's clear that Bruce loved and respected him, and I could hear the emotion in his voice. Sadly Bruce is passed also but now at least Michael will have his good friend with him and they will be creating beautiful music in heaven with love 🎶🙏x

0:19 This is what people are so ignorant of about MJ. They just think he was a singer/dancer. He was most importantly a musician.

Isn't being a great singer the same thing as being a great musician? I certainly think so. I never heard him play much on keyboard or guitar, I doubt even if he could play OK that he could play to pro standards. But yeah, he was a great singer, dancer, songwriter, producer.
That is pretty impressive on its own in my opinion, plus, he brought in great players to make his musical vision come true rather than trying to do everything himself.

@@Andronicus2007 Agreed, but most "singers" (as we know in common parlance) just sing what notes they're told to sing and do some improv here and there.
And I don't mean musician in the strict instrumentalist sense, I mean musician in the sense of musical genius. MJ made a lot of his own tunes, and great ones at that.

@@spuriusscapula4829 MJ certainly was a genius, no doubt about that!

Bruce ; Like Michael, was 1 of a kind. I listen to his interviews as well as Michael and Quincy and Rob Temperton those 4 guys there will never be at time where the stars will align Like it did for them . All starting with OFF THE WALL. BUT THRILLER. WHAT HAPPENED AT WESLAKE STUDIOS WAS A ONCE IN THE LIFE TIME OF EPIC EVENTS IN EPIC PERPORTIONS

    When she asks, “Earth Song?”
It’s obvious she didn’t listen to HIStory all the way through… or at all. Earth Song is incredibly well done song. I love that song.

What an awful interviewer she is. Bruce Swedien: "Pardon me, I have difficulty speaking of Michael in the past." Interviewer: "Can you not believe he's gone?" RIP To these two legends.

I love how it's quoted immediately on the bottom "Michael san the doo-doo out of all his music".
