I have recently discovered while stretching my Typhon 6S that low voltage & higher kv motor with an XLX2 can get you some really good #s. I only had a 2200kv hobbywing motor in her while testing her suspension settings. Running a conservative 1:1 gear ratio (34/34) on that same 4S CNHL g+ plus lipo, I hit 89mph. I was just setting up her suspension lol, I didn't think it was going to hit that high on that motor. And seeing that it only pulled 210A, I was like "whoah", still plenty of room to gear up 😄
I had been tossing back & forth between TP Power and the 1721 2400kv motor. But yesterday I finally bit the bullet & got the Castle 2400kv motor. Originally I wanted that motor for my Limitless, but I think I'm gonna have fun with the Typhon 6S instead 😏

All great runs!!! All 100+, I was surprised on that Typhon 6S at 101 with all stock electronics, just a larger pinion and suspension upgrades for the road!!! I have a Typhon TLR with a decent amount of mods, I usually run it at the track or off-road, I’m gonna go up on my pinion and see what mine can hit…again awesome video!
Wow! Lots of fast cars in this video 👍 I am really impressed with the stock Typhon 🤩 I goes to show how much a set up can make a difference. I tried a similar set up with my Typhon and only got 78mph 🤣

I just bought a FELONY roller/slider on eBay. Are there any videos available that would get me started modifying the chassis to accommodate the 1721 CASTLE motor. I’ve done a 2 builds with the 1717 & XLX2 in an XO1 & a LIMITLESS. In both cases the 1717 dropped right in. I know the FELONY chassis won’t fit the 101+mm motor in the stock location.
Are you running 1:1 gear ratio or overdrive because the pinion looks like it’s bigger than the spool/spur.
I drag race 132 feet track and sometimes lose radio at the end of the shutdown area. How do you maintain reception ?

@@InnovationRC thinking of selling my 4 month old Xmaxx tires still pretty much 100% tread, another set that are vented, proline badlands and the 2 4s batteries with 4 runs on them for $800 so I can get infraction, felony or typhon 6s. May even think about a traxxas XO-1.
@@InnovationRC Thinking of selling my 4 month old Xmaxx tires still pretty much 100% tread, another set that are vented, proline badlands with about 5 runs and the 2 4s batteries with 4 runs on them (used 6s at first) for $800 so I can get an infraction, felony or typhon 6s. I like that Corvette body though and would love to paint one. Just disabled and the Xmaxx is fun but heavy to take around places to run with back surgeries and a shattered ankle. Have a Kraton and notorious 6s and those are big enough.

Hey I love your videos the cars you build are insane.I have a major question, I was wondering if it would be possible and run well if I did a 1100kv hobbywing motor and a castle Mamba monster X 8s esc setup in my outcast 8s EXB and would that work well together or what. I need some explanation because there isn’t any videos on TH-cam of that particular mix.

Kinda a weird question. Do you think the castle 2200kv in a slash 4x4 on 4s would be a good setup? It’s got 2.8 badlands so I know it will put the power to the ground.

Align the car for the road your running on. If you rely on an aid your car isn't going to perform to it's fullest potential. Can always add the aid after

Hey! It's a 2mm c8 body from Delta plastic, super well made. I used shoe glue underneath after the paint to reinforce the body

where can i get this batteries
I’ve been out of the sport for 15+ years, and I only did nitro and gas how do you guys keep these cars straight at that speed?. I go back to the nitro rs4 with a .21 and super nitro. And I was one of the first people who did almost 100 miles an hour with a gas car back in the early 2000s.
So 101mph on the Stock 6s system... when I tried, it was geared to 116mph, but it was only hitting 140kph then would cut out.
I'm curious now could you do a pass with the 1415?
I won't run a 1415 in the infraction, I'm running a 1721 in this video
