Is there a reason they keep those giant frag plugs in the display tanks?
They’re mainly to grow out colonies for future fragging. They’re not pleasing to the eye but for this guys purposes I’m sure they’re really handy. Seems like his displays serve as grow out tanks
@@gregprevite8548 Absolutely correct. The frag plugs and plates allow us to remove the colonies easily for care, inspection, and fragging. Since we are limited on space, our displays do indeed serve as our grow out tanks as well as our displays. For us it helps find that nice balance between aesthetics and function.

Amen to that! I often joke and say she let me do all the things others spouses would never let them do lol. And makes it even better we enjoy this endeavor and dream together.
