I found your photographs were beautifully captured which defines the weather and nature there perfectly. I really like your ways of expressing the nature to the people throughout ur eyes. Kudos

    Isn't Pung Gyen name of a mountain - Gang Pung Gyen?
    After seeing the dilapidated and abandoned house at the end of video remind me of MILAREPA visiting his home after performing back magic only to find ruins and bones of his mother Nangtsa Kargyen.

    Thank you so much for this inspiring video. In about two months I will walk through Tsum, Kutang and Nubri. Got a lot of inspirations for sidetrips from your amazing video. I looked up this Pungyen Mountain on Maps a few months ago. Did you sleep at Pungyen Gompa or did you do the whole Kora from Shyala? Thanks!

    • @gyaljensherpa9100
      @gyaljensherpa9100  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am really happy to know that you will do the side trips. We woke up early morning to witness the 360 degree captivating Mountain View at Shyala, right after the breakfast we went to Pungyen Gompa and did whole Kora of Pungyen Hill. We carried lunch and snacks. I highly recommend you to take local guide as weather is really unpredictable. The Local people believed that if Pungen has a new visitor then it will rain for sure. We reached Sama around evening and stayed there for the next day to explore Milrepa Cave and Birendra Lake.

    Tashi delek Gyaljen! Thank you for your beautiful and cheerful video! I will be in Nepal in June to receive teachings from Mingyur Rinpoche, and I plan to do a trek in the Nubri area before. I would love to visit Serang, Hinang, Pungyen and Milarepa’s cave. Do you have recommendations for trekking company or local guides?

    • @gyaljensherpa9100
      @gyaljensherpa9100  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      great that you gonna visit the amazing place while you are in Nepal. And for the local guides, the villagers are very helpful and informative to all the visitors but you must need to get the entry permit to enter into the Manaslu trails. There are few check points and they are specially mobilized for the safety of tourists. If you really seeking for the trekking company then for sure they will provide you the guide. However to visit Pungyen and Milarepa's cave, please get some ideas about the direction or ways from the local and they will give directions to u and ur guide. Thank you.
