    Hey, good video. I have done low and medium content for several years and it has worked for me. However, I would like to move into creating some high content books for sure. 😊

      Done correctly it can still be effective. I just don't advise it for new people because the competition is endless.

    This advice is great for a beginner like me. I thought the only way to make money was to do MORE, FASTER. The process is intimidating but knowing that it's possible makes me hopeful that I can do it. Thank u

      Do an amazing job on one proper book and it will outperform dozens of low content books done poorly. You can absolutely do it!

    Thank you, your videos are awesome! Curious how you create the content. Are you using AI for an outline prior to hiring a ghost writer? What AI tool do you use? Can AI do illustrations?

    • @TrevorSomerville

      Thanks for watching! I don't advise you to use AI for the book content itself (yet), but I love using it for the book outlines, titles, book descriptions, etc. My favorite ghostwriter is in the description below and Chat GPT and Mid Journey can be great depending on the kind of book you're creating.

    I agree with you. Low content is super flooded and just garbage. I have a lot of design experience and make coloring books. I was thinking of getting into high content, but my real expertise is in the art world. Wherever your main source of experience is is gonna be the best place to stay. My moat is that my books are gonna be skillfully better than others. It is hard to beat someone when they don't know what they are doing vs an expert who knows exactly what they are doing. Just have to find which area best suits you and that is the area to stick with

      If you're an expert, then I think you could still do well if you get your marketing right. The average person is using software or paying $50 to be the 100,000 low quality copy and they're doomed.

    Can anyone help me ? I bought some coloring pages from Creative Fabrica and am using Canva to put everything together. I’ve noticed that on some pages there are border lines on some all the way around and some have only 2 line and some with three. What am I doing wrong and how do I fix it?

      It's hard to advise you without being able to see it. Id say reach out to them they probably have some support that can tell you where the issue is coming from.

    Thanks bro, I want to ask, is prompt journals considered low content and is it something you would recommend?

    • @TrevorSomerville
      @TrevorSomerville  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To me any kind of journal is still considered low or no content. Super competitive, easy to make, small royalties and you can’t turn it into other formats. If you have an amazing idea to stand out in a sea of journals and really want to publish it then go ahead. I just don’t recommend it.

    How does it work with getting reviews so people consider buying your content?

    • @TrevorSomerville
      @TrevorSomerville  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Kelle. Anyone who buys your book can leave a verified review and it will show up in every Amazon countries market. There is all sorts of strategies to get reviews from Facebook to lead magnets etc. It might be something I can cover in another video, but more then I can say in a comment.

    I know what an audio book is, but how do you turn a book into an audio book?

    • @TrevorSomerville
      @TrevorSomerville  ปีที่แล้ว

      All you have to do is narrate or hire a narrator to record your book. Typically you can find someone talented for $50 per finished hour. Then you can sell it on ACX or one of the many aggregate platforms. It's one of the easiest ways to make more money from a high content book.

    Any idea on topics I could do books on?

    • @TrevorSomerville
      @TrevorSomerville  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are endless profitable topics to do content on. Start with your interests and go into the best-seller list to see what is in demand, and from there, just look for books that have a first page that isn't full of books with 1000+ reviews so you can compete.
