Hi Tom, Popham is no Oshkosh, but it's a great friendly place to be. The Sub70 aircraft have definitely introduced me to a different way of flying. Thanks for your support to the channel.
Another great video and almost New Reporter style. Good to see flex wings returning but also the progression of 3 axis, although the boundry between microlight and GA is far less obvious now with some microlight out performing the classic GA.
It was nice to see so many flexwings. Yes I agree, the difference between GA and microlights is become more in favour of microlights having more performance.
Looks like a great weekend with plenty to see! Still gutted to have missed it but there's always next year... Great coverage, Giles - thanks for putting this together. 🙂👍
@@GolfFoxtrot22 Yes, enjoying my humble C1 paratrike, dreaming of exchanging the Vittorazzi 185 to a Geiger electric system as soon as 90 minutes endurance happens. Hoping to go flexwing one day too 🙂. Minimal flying machines are my thing ....
Paul Dewhurst. Taught me to fly in an x air. At moggerhanger airfield in Bedfordshire in1993. Got then my ppl(m) he's gone a bit more grey since then, great tutor and tons of experience.
You have a future as an interviewer if flying is no longer an option!!! Great to get a feel for the show, even spotted Peter from East Fortune at the pilot Aware stall, and great to see Andy talking about the flexwing Adventurers too! All in, well done!!!
Oh crikey, I've always struggled to think of questions so have to preplan them. I was surprised that some didn't want to be chatted to, but I guess they were happy just chatting to customers. I did briefly chat to Peter, I think it took him a few goes to get down.
😂Fantastic video Giles really loved it and its great to see you again. One question are there more than Ben's company that builds sub 70 Microlights then?
Wow, David is back in the comments section woohoo, good to see you again and I hope you are well? To answer your question, yes, there were a few that I interviewed and showed some more in the B roll.
Hmm, tried to find out if these event still happened (last went in 1999 🤣🤣) - I see I've missed it 😭😭. Enjoyed watching that will look out for it next year (assuming it's an annual event!)
You are so good at interviewing, very professional Giles. Love the new GF22 placard as well 🙂
The joy of the edit, I can cut out the bits I don't like or do it again ;). Did you like the little funny bit at the end?
So much shiny kit! I like the look of the bush Skyranger.
Lots and lots of shiny kit some way outside of my price bracket.
Hi Giles. Wish I could be at Popham. I’m from the mountain states of the US and I think your Sub70s in the UK are very cool. Love your channel sir!

@@GolfFoxtrot22 I think Oshkosh would be a be too much for me. Too overstimulating! That’s part of why I live out in the middle of nowhere.
Really sorry to have missed it! Looked really great. Thank you for covering and hope to be there next year!
HI Duncan, you could try and fly in next year.
Now that would be a fun challenge!
great update on developments, Loved it
Hello Stephen, I'm glad it helped. Lots of new things in the near future..exciting times.

I'll get back to Popham one day, such a great event - thanks for sharing 👍✌️💜😊
Hi Muso, good to see you in the comments again. It was a good event, it was just a shame I couldn't stay for the whole event.
Good video and great to see you Giles. I think I saw you down there. I'm going to subscribe. Thanks for posting
Hello Roger, thank you for your support and I hope you had a good time at Popham.
What fun!
Its a really friendly environment and a great social as well as the commercial aspects.
Another interesting video Giles, excellent
Cheers Ged. Can you try and sort this weather out please ;)

Hi Dan, at least you know what you are getting. Can you sort this weather out please.. ;)
@@GolfFoxtrot22 Ah it's all in the law of averages, Giles. From next week every single day will be flyable until at least November. 👍😁
Please book that weather.
Wonderful video !
Thank you Andres, I hope you are still keeping well?

An excellent report, Giles, very professional and gave a real flavour of what it was like for those of us who couldn’t make it 👌👏👏👏
Hi Kev, glad you enjoyed it. Lots of GA aircraft there who flew in. I wished I had more time to interview more people.
Good coverage 👍
Hi Patrick, cheers. Any luck your end with flying?

Paul is wonderful font of knowledge. I've learnt so much from him just in conversation. I hope you enjoyed the video.

Am available for other cameos. Of course I'll bring cake and biscuits 😅

Oh crikey, don't look too closely David. :) Glad you are getting better.
The BMW engine option is quite interesting! 😍
It certainly is and give an alternative to a Rotax.
@@GolfFoxtrot22 Agreed 👍
Need some choices and competition in the market.
You'll be flying a big 2 seater before you know it.
@@GolfFoxtrot22 yes! Full sized 'merican so I need a big trike 😁
Andy Oliver?. Surely that was GW Bush !!
Shocking similarities between the 2. 😁

Hi Sarah, yes for the past few years since covid, it's been an annual event.
Thank you, I'll look out for next year's event
Fun as always! Would have been good to get to Popham as it’s been ages… maybe next year.
Hi Neil, hopefully we can catch up before then.
great video, lousy music!
Cheers Paul, music is such a hard thing to choose for a video.
