The sheer joy I get from learning this and slowly hearing the song come together is indescribable. Amazing breakdown, I can follow along as a total beginner who has never played tabs before
I have been playing guitar since 1974. I started at 22 years of age. Got more into finger style guitar never really dove into too much pentatonic rock, but this is a textbook example of learning how to play pentatonic scales. I can read music and I’ve had several years of lessons about five years worth. I learn to read music. It’s really amazing how fast you can learn things just by paying attention and not getting confused the main factor with this one take your time and learn it. Well, it’s truly a beautiful masterpiece for a solo, I am almost done with it and it is beautiful. Thank you John Lee Blackmore for making this video. I highly appreciate it. I’ve been the string up and as I bring it down, I do two plugs on each one, and it comes out to exactly 10 clocks. Just another method I do of counting off time. The speed of the node is about a 16th note it sounds really beautiful. This whole solar is absolutely beautiful. You did a beautiful job. The best guitar teacher ever!!!! Such a great, down to earth guy taking his time to teach in a detailed manner so that beginners can understand what's going on!!! Most other online lessons are so hard to follow because they don't get down to beginner's level.

Yeah, if you want to learn solo in hotel California, this is the one to learn. I learned it kind of added my little flares to my own style of playing it but it turned out beautiful now I have the whole song now I can do my instrumental version of Hotel California.
