I would have loved to have had a Bret Hart v Kurt Angle match if Bret kept going, I think he would have retired around the same time as HBK, maybe have HBK and Bret go out together, who knows.

Shawn went on for 8 years . Bret would've been 44/45 in 2002. I reckon he definitely could still have had amazing matches considering some of the greats still going to late 40s

Bret in the Attitude Era could have been interesting. Of course the Angle program was ther, but him and Stone Cold running it back could have been fun and seeing main event level Rock vs Bret could have been dope.

What if Dustin Rhodes didn't develop all those demons that led to him leaving companies and burning bridges all throughout his athletic prime? Seeing what he's been able to do since seemingly getting clean and healthy later in life, how far up the card would he have gone in WWF or WCW? Obviously Hogan held plenty of people back, but presuming he wasn't being artificially held down what would his ceiling have been, as himself or as Goldust?
Also, I would have really liked to see Okada in WWE. Will Ospreay is a good fit for AEW despite how bloated their roster is, but The Raimaker with WWE's level of presentation and with writers who treat him like the big deal he'd deserve to be could absolutely have created magic. Would have been shades of Ric Flair's initial run to the world title except with no Hogan in the way.

I think a good Wrestlemania main event could’ve been Punk & Hart vs HBK & HHH maybe at Wrestlemania 28 or 29. Would’ve been perfect.
Also Okada joining Chase U could’ve worked, they could’ve done something like Andre Chase teaching philosophies and teachings are based off of Okada but that’s if they leaned into the U aspect of the gimmick more.

CM Punk would have lost and still never main evented WWE until 2025.
If Vince McMahon was still in charge I don't think much would change aside from Logan Paul being World Heavyweight Champion instead of Damian Priest because he would have won MITB. Also Ricochet, Bronson Reed, and Ivar would not be on Raw every week, matter of fact The Viking Raiders wouldn't be in WWE and neither would anyone else Triple H rehired, CM Punk included. We would have gotten The Rock vs Roman Reigns, that's damn near a guarantee.

I don't think Cody would have gotten big if Vince was around. I'm pretty sure that Roman would have still gotten the title around his waist still; and try to break Bruno sammartino's record. I also don't think the TNA women's champion would have ever been in the women's Royal rumble at all. He would treat her as like some scrub if they would have done it.

According to Cody, Vince actually came to his home to sign him back to Dub. Vince is a Despicable human being, no doubt, but he's always been willing to bury the hatchet and squash beef with anyone he had problems with if it made him money and he knew even back in 2022 that Cody was money.
What would have been the difference is that I don't think the Mania Pivot happens if Vince is in charge. The pivot happened because of fan backlash and if history has taught us anything it's that the one thing Vince does not care about is what the fans want. So I think the Rock Vs Roman match would have still been the main event of Mania 40 and Cody's story would have concluded sometime around Summerslam or something.

I know "CHASE UUUUU~" is the throwaway jokey answer, but imagine if MJF was in Chase U as the male counterpart to Jacy Jayne. imagine a wild series of mixed tags where MJF & Jacy keep beating Thea and whoever, from Riley to Mr. Chase to Duke, which slowly builds MJF up to be a North American or even top title contender.

Bret retired himself. Bret wrestled multiple matches after the Goldberg kick despite knowing he was concussed. He even willingly took a chair shot to the head from Terry Funk! Bret was a big enough star that he could have demanded time off to recover from the concussion, but he made the conscious decision not to

    • @parsath_2584
      @parsath_2584 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

At the time that was the done thing.
Concussions weren't taken as seriously, blaming Bret for what was an expectation isn't fair.
Meanwhile Goldberg just said hurting people didn't matter because he never intended it.
      Fuck that guy.

    • @user-ih2tr7rt9r

first of all Bret heart did not retire himself second of all I think he would’ve stayed wrestle if it wasn’t for freaking assberg injured him he would’ve had a longer career so the fact that you just wanna type in this comment and act like Goldberg wasn’t a problem and that it was Brett Hart fault that was the whole reason why he had to retire that just sounds stupid Hell, who knows? I wouldn’t be surprised if Goldberg decided to do it on purpose because Brent was the better wrestler than him and he hate him so much for how much of a good person he was. He decides to freaking end his career because he knows that everybody came to see him and WCW instead of him because you know how these inner invaders are do you want to act like they’re a bunch of ass? And they are worried that the talented one could take their spot so they decided to freaking camper somebody else’s legacy for whatever reason I don’t think it was any thing about that for what you just said, but in my opinion, I think he would’ve been OK but you just seeing all that just sounds childish to me

It makes me so eternally sad how Bret’s career ended and how his WCW run went. He had so much left to give the business and it was taken from him by a no talent hack. The fact that Bret is still bummed about it is so depressing. I can’t even watch this video because of how worked up I would get

If you've seen Bret's match highlights from 2010, you'll see that the masterful artist is still inside him. Had he been 100%, all of Shawn's matches from 2002-2010 would have been Sunday Night Heat dark matches compared to Bret's library. I mean, that's already the case, but Bret would have been added more to it.
