This video brought such a smile to my face. I live on a 33ft boat in Manly, Qld with my partner. This past weekend we sailed to Moreton Island for the weekend to build up our skills. It felt like such an achievement. I can't imagine what it must feel like for you guys to arrive in the Bahamas. It was our first night sleeping 'out' on the boat. Not sure if you guys remember your first night anchored somewhere, but we both woke up countless times, wondering if we had dragged anchor. But not at all, didn't budge. We anchored how we learnt/read and everything was fine. One day at a time, little by little we'll build our skills. Can't wait to see the things you guys are seeing. And I especially can't wait to get there by sailing.
I raced ocean going sailboats for a couple of years back in the early 70's before we had all of the modern electronics. Sailed against Ted Turner with his 12 meter and usually beat him. I will tell you right now that even pleasure sailing is fantastic but can be brutal. Get with someone really good and enjoy. Mike
It has been so much fun rewatching your older videos now that I’m all caught up to the current ones. Thanks for continually putting out quality content and keep smiles on all our faces! 🙂
The two of you amaze me and fill my heart and soul with peace and serenity. I’m 72 years old and have always been mesmerized by the waters though Lake Michigan is the closest I’ve been... I tell myself that in my next life I shall experience the sun, sand, and the magical music the waves, wind and waters offer. May peace, love and light surround the three of you forever and always😘
Only 72?! You've got plenty of time to experience it in this life! You don't have to wait til the next, if you're physically able i say get out there and do it! 🌊⛵
We were anchored off the pig beach a couple of years ago and my brother had flown in to see us for a few days. We watched a seaplane land and taxi up to the beach to see the pigs. My brother said, “These are just pigs right? They don’t talk or tell jokes, or do math or anything, do they?”. “They swim,” I told him. He thought about that for a minute, and then asked, “Are there any pigs who can’t swim.”. Enjoying your videos. Making me wish we were in the Bahamas right now.
I lost it at the shot of the little pig hooves swimming underwater 🐷😍🐷😍🐷 and loved your song as well Elayna, great work guys, hope all is well for you two ✌️
Sailing La Vagabonde Grenada 🇬🇩 heading to Trinidad soon & then north up the Caribbean chain. If you happen to be heading south would love to see you 😘🐙
Riley, I am with you on the pigs. Really enjoy both of you explaining things as you go along. Hoping your travels bring much wonder and joy. Thank you for taking us with you on the adventure. Much appreciated.
just wondering if you said to the pig while it was biting you "That'll do pig, that'll do"???? :) ...get the feeling if you got drunk and passed out on that beach, you might come to a grizzly end.
Hey guys started watching 4 weeks ago and am totally addicted, 160 episodes in 4 weeks!!! Me and my wife and 4 kids have a twenty eight foot southern cross we have been sailing on holidays for a couple of years now, but after watching you guys are seriously considering upgrading and doing a year or two on the water , homeschooling the kids.... the crossing from oz is the only thing holding my wife back.... stay safe... out
I'm living in a van, somewhere by a river, in North America. Honestly cant believe this is the life that y'all live. I thought I had it good. Kudos mates. Keep it up. Good luck with the new pup. Keep the vids coming if life doesnt get too crazy.
I’m hooked on watching your exploits too - bloody brilliant escape from a wet winter in England. We too have turds floating in our sea like pig beach but that’s where the similarities end.
If there is any possible or impossible, probable or unlikely, avoidable or inevitable, near or far away. thinkable or unthinkable INJURY - it will find Riley. Seems to be something like gravity... You´re safe, Elayna. That´s for sure !!! Fair winds and always a handful of water under the keel
Hi Riley and Elayna, been watching you both for over a year now but never commented. This episode of Staniel Cay is a bit personal to me. I am a pilot and some years back I found myself contracted to fly there twice a day for several months for the Yacht club when their aircraft was down for major maintenance. At one point I brought my wife out and we did some of the very same things that you showed in this episode. It brought back a fun flood of memories (all good of course). Riley, I narrowly escaped a bite on the A$$ from the pigs myself so I'm feeling for you. Thanks for what you do and maybe one day I will get to meet you. ~ Preston
Loves: 1.Watching your vids. Thank you and keep sharing! 2.Riley always gives Elayna's cooking a 10!...stirs reverie of evoking happiness in me when my hubby and boys enjoy my cooking. 3.Elayna's song...so beautiful that it really stood out and brought a smile to my face when I read it was yours! :) Safe travels.
You guys are giving me serious wanderlust as I’m sitting here watching all of your Bahamas videos from cold winters western, Pennsylvania. That little bite looked gnarly!
Looks amazing, both of you have inspired me and my daughter (9 years old), we are getting a survey on a formosa 41 that needs some work, hopefully will be in the water in a few months. As for the baby their not that bad, I have raised 2 in the suburbs and now one looking forward to one being raised on the water. Just always let them know you love them and whatever situation you are in your family will come out on top! Best of luck with the little one, it is one heck of a ride :)
Sam Brody ...... as a previous formosa 41 owner..... don't pay very much for it. And the cabins and decks have huge rot issues. At most they are worth 25-30k. Mostly due to no second cabin and such a small space for their lenght. More modern boats are way more ergonomic and have better low wind sailing abilities. If it has wooden masts.... run from it......
Hey Sails thanks! Any advice is much appreciated, I am also looking at a Heritage 38, Irwin 41 Mk2 CC and 2 S2 9.2 CC, I am def the type of person that just says "Just get it, and will figure it out as we go" taking the slow and route for once has been a huge eye opener!! :)
Sam Brody .... something from the late 90's would be best. By then boat builders realized that wood rots and most quality builders used wood only for decritive purposes. The beniteus were incredibly well engineered boats. And the craftmanship was off the scale. What fails is the American made junk thats put on the boat. Winches, engines, pumps, batteries and all electrical wireing. Just replaceing the wiring properly will cost 3k. Autopilot is 4k. Wind steering which I say is a must ..... is up to 4k. And remember, most wind steering systems do not work with hydraulic steering. Well..... its time to leave Asia and get back to my boat in Mexico and go sailing for the season......... good luck to you and fair winds.
I found you folks just a month or so ago. Been binge watching trying to catch up, and this is where I'm at now. Loving your adventurous spirit, your personal dynamics, and somehow maintaining a healthy and happy balance. Cheers!
So stoked to hear you cover Shakey Graves! He is certainly bubbling at the surface in the music scene here in the states. Excellent job on the cover, excellent job on all of them! Good winds and safe sailing to both of you!
Cat Island is one on my favorite places down there... The fishing and diving are really good. Fernandez Bay is an awesome little resort and restaurant, the owner and staff are amazing. Most of the island is basically untouched, and there is a haunted pink beach on the north side. Too bad you guys sailed right past, but at least you mentioned it!
Hey! I am only 14 but sail in sailing camp on the Hudson River in NYC over the summers. I was sailing little dinghys but am now sailing J-24s. I love the water and sailing, but can't sail as much as I'd like. I am named after lake where I have been going for my whole life, I started sailing with my grandfather when I was about 8 or 9. Your videos are so fun and even though I have to be in school, I get to watch you guys sail and I can almost imagine myself onboard the Vagabonde hoisting the main! Keep it up, even though it makes me jealous that I'm not sailing on the beautiful ocean! You two are amazing!
So cool to see you guys on my stomping grounds of Staniel Cay! Riley, I have a feeling Elayna wanted to reenact a few scenes with you from the Into the Blue movie. lol
Oops sorry you got bit Riley... eek. You need to watch out and make sure it doesn't fester. Love you guys...thanks for all the fun from the beginning until now. xx for you both and a special kiss Elayna for the little one inside X Those who thumb town...get lost. You have no idea what is good viewing. I live the dream through you guys so keep up the good work.

Hiya Groovers! Another great Video....envious of the lifestyle....I noticed at the start of this video on your plotter was a vision of Acklins Island, which is in the vicinity of a Discovery Channel series called Coopers Treasure, which is all about a team of adventurers trying to find historical shipwreck treasure ! So when your snorkelling around there, keep your eyes open for GOLD!
Riley, your Sombrero hat in the wind mixed your hand motions, just superimpose in a Rapier and we'll rename you d'Artagnan... One for all, and all for one!! ;)
I'm curious... I've been watching for a while now and I would like to know the origin of the nickname "pants" or "pantaloons". Knowing you two it has a funny story. Love the videos!
I've been watching for about two years now , Elayna and Riley , underwater shots are great , this is what I need in my life , but I so far away from an ocean .
I read an article on pig beach saying they bring pigs there for tourists only and pigs die on the beach from exposure after going crazy in the sun. So they're trapped there until they die and are eaten and dragged off by other pigs. It was someone's idea to create this pig beach on a sand bar to attract tourist boats paying a ton to visit it from around the world as it's sold as a pig heaven.
Still working my way through them all. Trying to support by liking every video, commenting when I can, ordered the Lit solar panel charger from the ad link, and ordered some merch last week! Keep it up!
Hi Guys. Well, I cant believe you’ve finally done it. You’ve combined TWO of my favourite things in life. Watching your channel and James Bond. As I sip on my nock off drink Kombucha, with my feet up, you’ve made this fellow very happy. Thank you.
Those of you who think pigs are cute. I raised enough of them to know they're cute right up until they bite you. Afterwards, you will wish them to become bacon or part of a ham and cheese sandwich even if you're a vegan.
A big hello from Denmark. I enjoy watching your guys videos while writing my bachelor degree. It sure takes a lot of my time which I could have spent on the actually bachelor itself but it is so worth it :)
Riley, where does a guy get a half button shirt like your green one? It’s slick Also a video on Australian slang/phrases would be pretty interesting. Australians always seem to have the most fascinating sayings imho
Pro Genji Pro Genji just google "half button workshirts Australia" made from drill cotton so heavy weight. Great for working cattle etc, zero chance of popping lower buttons. But good for any manual work. Quite a few brands to choose from....not sure what brand Riley wears.
Bayl's LEGEND! I live in a pretty country area in the states and surprised I have not been able to find them in any of the surrounding western or cowboy stores
So glad to see Elayna feeling better & will send positive thoughts that it holds. Seems like you two are in a good place right now. I live in Florida- about half way up the state, close to the water on either side of the "boot" shaped area. I hear there's a really nice marina nearby- check out St. Petersburg. If you ever need anything I would be happy to try and assist. Cheers!
I just love watching you two sail the boat and swim, fish and frolic in the ocean. Exquisite and delightful! Thank you. If I could I would become a patron.
I found a video of y'all's about two week ago....then I decided to start from the beginning, and have been binge-watching from the start for 10 days! I was so excited when you said E was pregnant! I can't wait to watch your adventure continue to unfold, you are such a beautiful family and team.
Just started watching you, and I already love you guys because of you I believe that one day I'll buy my own boat and sail across the world with my partner. P.S Lenny is so cute. I'm watching some old videos, you reduce my fear of the sea! 😂❤
Hey guys, I often forget to ‘like’ the videos unless you say so at the end and then I go back and like all the ones I forgot. Maybe keep reminding us so others don’t forget?! xx
Funny I just realized i have not clicked thumbs up in a while. I went back and did that for about 12 episodes or so. It was a fun montage of "Good Morning". I really do enjoy watching your videos. It is a great escape from a 9 to 5 desk job!
I think the last part of this video was a bunch of hog wash! : - ) They were pretty clean weren't they! HaHa And hey, you weren't kid napped you were just pig nipped! - No doubt that snout made you shout. Should I stop or keep going? : - D
I am finally getting to the point of seeing all your earlier vlogs.....I wish we could see more of Lenny but sure understand!!! Take care and stay safe!
Never get tired of those underwater shots :) Especially since winter is closing in on us here in Scandinavia, so for the next 1/2 year, swimming is only gonna happen in inside swimming pools *sigh* Take care, enjoy the sun and the ocean, and thanks again for the wonderful videos :-)

Have you gone back to S1 E1? Good starting point if you don't go right back to the very 1st vlog! 🙂👍

So stoked to hear you cover Shakey Graves! He is certainly bubbling at the surface in the music scene here in the states. Excellent job on the cover, excellent job on all of them! Good winds and safe sailing to both of you!
Watching you two helps my anxiety so much, sail on 💕💕💕
It's Porky's Revenge! This was a great episode! The song was awesome. The cave is awesome. I love these guys!
You guys are awesome, been binge watching for 3 days now!
Thanks!

Thanks again. I'm currently in a hospital and unable to travel so I enjoy these even more than usual.

Why am I not surprised to see you here? I've subbed to you both :)
hey Steveo you have a great channel also
colab?????!!!!!!!
They already did the re-enactment, how do you think Elayna got pregnant? 😂
What nationally is a baby born in international waters ... united nations 😉
Elayna, thank you for letting us have a few glimpses of your beauty while you scuba dive. Hope all is going well for you both
lovely underwater shots! 💚🙏 Fair winds! xo

I have been watching for several months in order now, I would love to go cruising one day. Thanks for the great work ☺️
Elayna, please get some ginger snaps or some ginger products!! honestly the oldest sailors trick in the book.
This phrase "watch out or the pigs will gitcha" now replaces "if the hurincane is here, we're not gonna be." Dangers abound!
You are the best. I don't know how your video came up to my Q. Since then (about a month ago) I'm addicted to your Chanel. Cheers!!
I swear, Riley needs a full time medic just to follow him around and patch him up. another great video!
😂🤣😂 true! He's an accident waiting for a place to happen ... very entertaining though! Thanks Riley, you're taking it for the team 😉😎👍
You're not being shown the bruises Elayna has. If you are sailing you are getting bruised up a lot. Too much motion and working parts. It's all part of the game. Mike
photography in your videos is simply amazing....living vicariously through you
You guys deserve way more subscribers then you have I seriously enjoy watching you guys
Best channel on youtube
Hi Courtney
@@26Heritage I agree
I’m re-watching all of your videos again .I’ve been watching for a few years now .congratulations on your baby!🥰
Elayna, what are the absolute top podcasts that I should seriously get into? I remember you recommending a few in previous episodes, but I couldn’t find the episodes where you talked about it. Thanks!!!!!!! Love y’all!!!
I'd love to hear a list too!
Thank You for taking me along on the journey. God Bless Both of You. David. Washington DC.
Amazing videos guys. I randomly saw one of your videos popped up on my stream and just wasted a week catching up on all your videos during my free time. Y'all inspired me to look into some introductory sailing classes since it was something I've always been intrigued by but never done. Hope to meet y'all on a Patreon meet up one day.
You didn’t waste a week catching. Nothing these two adventurers do is a waste.
"Wasted"!!! Maybe you mean casually spent your time...:)
Hiya Groovers! Beautiful snorkeling film clips. Seems better below surface than above during rainy days.
17:15 I'm sorry but I am laughing so hard the pigs basically planned a robbery and attack.😂🤣
Of all the sailing people on TH-cam y’all are the best! Y’all have such positive energy and it helps me to daydream away with all that y’all do. :-)
No. I'm not interested in those pigs at all! Classic.
You two wonderful people - and StevoKinevo - are why no one watches TV anymore. Love your work !
You should team up with the Dr. Mike channel. Riley goes on the adventures and Dr. Mike explains how to stitch him up.
Love your episodes. Always a good glimpse into your adventures. Thank you for sharing
This is how a zombie apocalypse could start. Sailing TH-camr bitten by infected pig, then sails around the world.
The zombies would all make pig noises as they attack. I'd probably buy that movie. LOL

So cruel!
I love this life in this way
I can not explain my feelings about this
I want to live these exciting moments
It really is a beautiful life
I visited Thunderball while in college. It is awesome! Thanks for bringing back memories.
Unbelievable!! Peace & Love Wind At Yer Backs!!!
Sailing La Vagabonde Thanks Riles. Cheers to you as well mate. And blessings to you, mp, and yer boy!

Cheers!
Hahaha Riles got a hicky from a bushpig
pork chop bit his backside! LoL
I just love watching you two sail the boat and swim, fish and frolic in the ocean. Exquisite and delightful! Thank you. If I could I would become a patron.
Funny- the ad I got before the vid was how to cook pork. Oink.
Gorgeous waters! Sorry bout that bit Riles, man that looked painful! Great episode as always and one of the weirdest titles ever!
Cutest person to ever don a pair of swim goggles.
Um, that would be Elayna. Sorry Riley. 8-)
Thank you for the huge positive, respect to you.👍👍🏻👍🏼👍🏾👍🏿👍
Don't worry I'll have a pork chop as payback!😊
I’ve been watching all of your videos for the past week. It seems like a dream. I’m so inspired!!
I would have been taking one of those piglets to the boat for supper! 🤠 Beautiful footage
Cute baby bump 😉
I found a video of y'all's about two week ago....then I decided to start from the beginning, and have been binge-watching from the start for 10 days! I was so excited when you said E was pregnant! I can't wait to watch your adventure continue to unfold, you are such a beautiful family and team.
Just started watching you, and I already love you guys because of you I believe that one day I'll buy my own boat and sail across the world with my partner.
P.S Lenny is so cute. I'm watching some old videos, you reduce my fear of the sea! 😂❤
Lisa Adams same!!!!!
You are an amazing couple that is living an amazing life. Well done.
Elayna.... where do you get your bathing suits? My daughter loves them and we don’t know where to find them. I hope you read this.
Thank you. 💚🌺💚
Kymberly P some of them I’ve seen on the Hollister website
Kymberly P she said she loves calzedonia
From Staniel drop by Little Harbour in Abacco. You’ll totally love Pete, Greg and the whole vibe. Don’t rush to FL... you’ll be disappointed.
I don't think I would be down for the pig swim after seeing the jumbo turd from the one... and Rile mambo bruisin... Grotto looked great~!! :)
Jumbo turd... lol 😂, but I thought the same thing.
I thought swimming pigs would be cool..., swimming biting pigs are NOT cool. Forget that!
Looked a lot like the Baby Ruth Caddyshack turd in the pool only that's the real thing, lol
its hard to remember thums up Riley, there are so many things to remember nowadays... Keep reminding, I don't mind! :D
Hey guys, I often forget to ‘like’ the videos unless you say so at the end and then I go back and like all the ones I forgot. Maybe keep reminding us so others don’t forget?! xx
I watch on auto play so I need to reminder too.
Animals! Take care of yourselves... Watching your videos better than going to the movies, lot less time consuming, more educational.. Love watching..
Here's the comment: IMPOSSIBLE to take a poor picture of Elayna. Ridiculously photogenic she is.
I love you guys!! happy about the new baby, just became a dad myself so i promise you will love it!
New sub! Love your channel 😍
@@SailingLaVagabonde 🤣🤣 I guess I'm sorted for the next few years
Funny I just realized i have not clicked thumbs up in a while.
HaHa
And hey, you weren't kid napped you were just pig nipped! -
No doubt that snout made you shout.
Should I stop or keep going? : - D
I am finally getting to the point of seeing all your earlier vlogs.....I wish we could see more of Lenny but sure understand!!! Take care and stay safe!
Starting to look like Captain Jack sparrow
Loved how you called him Riles. I've spent the last 20 yrs calling my son that.
it's ok Riley, you're even. *takes another bite of bacon sandwhich*
lmao I was thinking the same. I've been there a few times and had great interaction with the piggies
He will not do that. He cares about the planet, the oceans and the animals
