Skate 2 is definitely the better looking game out of the series. Better spots, the world has more personality if that makes sense while skate 3 seems like it was kinda thrown together.
If you do the crouch no comply glitch at the barriers in the DLC maps you can get to even more nice Skate 1 spots. I've even gotten to the old Matrix in Skate 2

Nightspeeds To glitch over the barriers, make sure your in goofy and not rolling then squeeze the grab trigger till your hand is touching your knee then do a no comply while still squeezing the trigger this will make you fly up in the air, depending which way your facing will influence which direction you'll go, just experiment with it and you'll get the hang of it. Some of the areas outside the barriers don't have solid floors so just explore and keep putting session markers down
THPS 5 is the most beautiful skate game ever made. Not just atmosphere and scenery, but also graphics, animations, and story. The control scheme is a little too realistic for me though.

Dust there are a couple tutorials on youtube. Try searching style glitch skate 3 or something. But it's basically doing a nollie inward, varial heel, 360 inward or laser to tail tap on the ground.
Dust Hi you just gotta do a flip trick then land it in a manual, the game will store the catch animation for the trick that you did then apply it to the next trick that you do, but I don't think all animations work with all tricks, they defo work with ollies/nollies kick flips, hard flips and heel flips and they also work in true switch
the ollie pop sound in skate 2 is so weird. its sounds so different from any other trick and its always really loud regardless of how far away the camera is.

Kevin Guillaume well last gen they were (though sure you know that) but Sony unfortunately doesn't support backwards compatibility which always made no sense to me. Ps2 could play ps1 games, even first gen ps3's could play ps2 games if I'm not mistaken. So I really don't understand why they didn't take that approach with the ps4's isn't like they would lose money, if anything it make people buy older games again knowing they could play them via ps4.
When I was playing Skate 2... I realized they stole most of the Skate 3 create park models from skate 2... like that electrical box and even small Soho building and more......... lazy skate 3 devs

Skate 1 will always be my favorite. Skate 2 wasn't my best. The pops and tricks and the off board mechanics were just 👎 imo. The original will always be the best in anything you do
