    I love your ideas and I could listen to your voice all day every day.It's very calming, something that I, who live in the insane US of A, can really use! I would be interested in some color ideas... like... "these two colors don't go together at all! Or do they? How to work with weird color combos and still have gorgeous results."

      Thanks!
      I actually live in Ohio! I’ve lived here for ten years!
      People say to use a color wheel to know what looks good together. I never have…I just kinda go with my instinct.

    Thank you so much for this tutorial. These came out beautifully. And all from scratch. I've just purchased all that I need to get started making clay jewelry. I have learned, and am sure I will continue to learn, so much from you.

    I love making scrap faux stones and gems, it was while doing this that I fell across my faux black opal mix. When I add the liquid clay I also added micro powders after dividing into groups so I can use different colours.
    I found running a sheet of the mix through the paster machine rather than rolling by hand as it gives it a really nice stretched effect perfect for the opal effects.
    I love to roll mine out to the 2nd thinnest setting so I can add to a solid black sheet in pieces which is rolled out to about a quarter inch leaving lots of the black exposed and then put through the pasta machine down to the 2nd thinnest setting but I turn it each time so the stretching goes in each directing. I just love doing this.
    I have found many of my best pieces are made from scraps that I started to mix solids together to make marbled clay and turned them into very thing sheets so I could cover beads now I need to sit and drill them all out but I need to make a jig so it can drill half way only and then placed on a wooden pin to drill through from the other end. Can not rush these things.

    Ok I know I can feel the daggers flouting my way. Lol how about a scenery of some sort on a pendent, Fiona Able Smith has tons of different ones that can inspire, since y’all are in a rut on designs 😀 it’s different and some seem really easy, lake a small patio with potted plants on it. Just a thought. And like I said I can see the daggers floating my way. 🤣🤣🤣 Tfs I really love these free style see what we come up with videos. The color ways are beautiful. Tfs hugs and make the daggers light. lol😂

      So sorry to hear about your daughter. I can’t imagine how heart broken you must be 💔
      As for incorporating her funeral flowers into a piece , the only thing I could think of, is to dry them and lay them on some clay, and seal in with some uv resin. Or maybe decorate a wooden keepsake box with them.

I am still having issues with cernit translucent not being translucent at all..I put it thru the pasta machine 60 times plus..is it touchy on temperature and or time of cooking..just getting frustrated here and begging for help here..tired of not getting even semi good results..please help

    • @clayboutique
      @clayboutique  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      What do you mean it’s not translucent?
      Have you checked that your oven temp is actually reading accurately? Check it with a thermometer.
      When conditioning the clay, always roll it through with the fold at the bottom, so that air bubbles get pushed out the top.
      Other than that, I don’t know what else to suggest.
