Heard this track today (oh, the treasured memories it brings to mind, from way back in the day...) while at the supermarket... busted a move down the isle - with my grocery cart as my dance partner.
Got home, went online and ordered the CD.
Always loved listening to the talented Bill Withers (R.I.P., Sir...) singing this song - yet, this cover version is absolutely amazing, as well!
I usually don't like remixes, but this is a really good one, for a change and I like it.

I was born in 1984 So I got a piece of the 80s and I remember hearing this song a lot in 1987!! 80’s early 90’s were amazing
Good music but bad times socially. The 80s brought the war on drugs and crack epidemic. It is the era when the prison system grew into the millions. The end of the 80s is when gangsta rap, which reflected the streets became mainstream (NWA). And the fashion in the 80s was horrid. But I still loved the 80s because I was a child. I turned 18 in 95.
