I have a 2000 Audi A8 quattro and the intake manifold valves in the front of the manifold are stuck. Can I fix them or do I need a whole new intake manifold?
There's a lot of really good diagrams on this, I would recommend purchasing a bentley manual or a service manual. There is lots of fairly complete one floating around eBay for cheap. 13 bucks . They have ton of great info.
I have a 2005 touareg 4.2 v8 and the runner arms are a little stuck like you really have to use your 4 fingers. I have to take them apart or better try to move them a lot so that they release tension?
One question: do I need to clear out the carbon build up the way u do on a A6. I have an A8 and I'm doing the timing tentioner and I seen a video where they're cleaning out carbon build up but it's a V6. Plz help.
Hello I was an Audi tech and currently just installed an oil cooler replacement with out dropping the engine upon watching your video and it was awesome, my problem is there is a vacuum hose in front in that mess you were talking about and yes a mess it’s one freakin hose in front that goes no where and I hate to have to take off the manifold just for one hose can you help please ?
theres one that feeds the fpr and then there the ones for the diaphragms the larger line ends up over going to the evap canister, i dont think there a 4th one. hope this helps
Hello, please help me out , I’m having a loud tapping noise that came up while driving, I lost power, and I checked the cam chain tensioners It sounds like it’s from the top of the engine aka intake manifold Thanks
I would suggest pulling both valve covers off and do a visual inspect. If you want Share in the community tab a couple image I'll see if I can help you out
way to underrated
As a Phaeton v8 owner, this video is gold!😅

i have a 2003 audi a6 4.2 and when driving blue smoke blow out of my exhust can see a clound of it but then stops
Blue smoke out your tail pipe could be cause by few things on this engine. Do you have any cel ? Or drive ability concerns ?
Yea man! Love the info.
all i care about is how the vacuum lines are run on the S6 manifold vs the A6 manifold.
They are the same they use very similar intake Manifold it when you get to the rs6 and tourgea, a8 intake thing, change.
Where's the video on how to remove the intake Manifold Adjusters
I too need this video
