      Background music is fine....providing it doesn't become foreground music competing with the news the presenter is trying to put over!! The complaints have been about the background music being far too loud....and more than becoming foreground music!! Tone it down....please.

    SLIM is probably the luckiest lunar lander to date given one of it's primary thrusters experienced a RUD during landing. Also they are naming the rocks after dog breeds to give some indication of the size of the rock I think this is JAXA's idea of making science accessible. Love the channel btw

    Given the fatigue cracks on one Russian ISS module, stainless steel may have been chosen for Starlab due to steel's superior fatigue properties. That could mean Starlab will last a lot longer in orbit (items in LEO are subject to thermal expansion/contraction cycles every 90 minutes). Also, as the cost of launching mass to orbit drops, there is less of a need to optimize satellites for weight. Note that Starlink uses argon now for station-keeping. The greatly lower cost of argon (compared to krypton or xenon) makes it the lowest cost choice, even though more argon is required for a given amount of delta V.

    I am an electronic development engineer, we are rather used to fighting to minimize heat dissipation, this poses a huge problem for us when operating at high temperatures of amout 350°F. I understand the difficulty of heating the electronics sufficiently with a limited amount of energy. Despite these problems, the tuilliere which comes loose and prevents the correct orientation landing, I find that this mission is a huge success for a first attempt. Well played to the JAXA!

    Maybe such landers should have mole that burrows under lunar regolith, even if it just get's a bot to cover itself... as long as the solar panel section and survive the lunar night, as small nuclear something to keep the battery warm and use the regolith later to insulate the mole/mother unit for the rovers as much as possible? I am not sure compacting the regolith would help, as I think the sharp edges on the regolith help create more spce and less contact area between them, meaning it may act like aerogel as the moon in in vacuum....

    • @sraMoTyawetaG
      @sraMoTyawetaG 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Speaking of moles. Smaller and lighter Elon boring machines could be used to dig underground space for future outfitting and create living, working space. Providing thermal insulation and protection from radiation. Good thinking!

      I though, it isn't that loud.... then after 2/3 the end music was blasted, someone must have uploaded the wrong version with some editor toying with the controls!

      @@louiec.9782yes you can lower it, but the Elysia can't be heard, check 2/3 into the video, that is when it starts blasting end music high enough that Elysia would have had to shout over the music to be heard!

      Better to not have background music to help the hard of hearing.

      I found the background music distracting and too repetitive. I agree it the music level could be reduced. It was a relief when the music changed near the end of the video.

    You don't have to say "Inu" after each dog breed. It literally translates to "dog".

    And which of those Russian or Chinese launches are of an EMP weapon payload to be used against the US in war? Could be any of them, since EMP generators can be quite small. Look past the cheerful woman and her cheerful easy-to-listen-to voice and grasp the real truth and potential danger of these spacecraft launches!

      Going to Mars by 2024 was wildly over optimistic. it does not mean it won't happen eventually. Launching a space station is more achievable by 2026.
