A huge thank you to Envoy and the flight crew for a fantastic job in filming this and all of the collaboration that took place in order to film and download this type of video. I understand that even as layoffs due to COVID are happening, the airline industry is still projecting a huge pilot staffing shortfall in the not too distant future from now, just in the United States alone. Thank you Swayne for an iconic video. PS my flight was landing in KMIA a few years ago during hurricane Maria just to the east of MIA and it was pouring rain. We had to do a go around and then when we finally landed and parked at that gate, we had to sit out the storm which dumped a foot of rain in 30 minutes. The entire tarmac was flooded and I felt sorry for the ground cruise who had to trudge through the deep water. You gotta love Miami tho.

I watched this to try get over my fear of flying. It really helped to see how you guys fly the plane and how relaxed you all are! thank you for this, its made me realise that my fear is just irrational!
Sorry to be that guy but your fear is totally rational. Don't believe the lies of "flying is safer than any other mode of transport." Technically yes. But what they don't tell you is they're just includnig the figures of how likely you are to be involved in an accident. What they don't include, intentionally, is fatality rate. Sure, there's more car crashes, but most car crashes aren't fatal, in fact the vast majority don't even result in serious injury. On the other hand, any plane crash if one was to occur tends to have a very high fatality rate, usually well over 50% in any aviation crash. So yes, you're less likely to be involved in one, but if you are you will have little chance of survival. Again, sorry to be that guy but I'm tired of the BS that is "flying is the safest transport in the world", as it's just not true.
I can't believe the first time this video was recommended to me and I watched it, I didn't realize it was a 360 video. Now that I know, 4 months later, the video just got a whole lot better.
As a guy who has fallen in love with flight through sims... And videos like yours... I can't explain how awesome this experience was!!! To be able to follow through checklist with you, watch AP adjustments in real time... ATC comms... Just an awesome video man! Big thanks for all the work you had to do... this is actually amazing. im an aviation enthusiast, and i have played flight simulators before, but i have always wondered what its like to be in the actual cockpit of a plane. watching this video really gave me a feel of the cockpit and the pilots (especially on mobile), great video man.
Swayne, the thing I most admire about you is the laser focus you possess as a young man. You knew early on what you wanted and you set about achieving your goal. So many people drift about in life like a ship without a rudder. You have been just the opposite. I truly admire that. I wish I had more of that when I was young. Safe travels to you.
As someone who’s now in their 20’s and who’s never been on a plane this is very interesting for me. I’ve always been unsure how I am with heights, but I know if I’m high up looking up actually scares me more than looking down. This video had my adrenaline going though and hands sweating haha. As phenomenal as this is I don’t think it’d be for me

This is such a cool video. I am always asked what I want to do when I grow up and I have always said that maybe I wanted to be an accountant, astronaut, some of the other stuff most people want to do, and a pilot. Recently I have been thinking a pilot would be the dream job for me. you should do more of these. none of the flightdeck channels do 360 camera, continue this sort of quality and your channel will explode. i guess you need a willing jump seater though.

Thanks for the tip. I had never viewed a video in 360. The first five minutes, all I saw was the pilot and co-pilots legs and instruments. Once I read some of the comments, I was able to enjoy this awesome view.

You don't feel the height when your on the plane and not looking out of the window.
