Funny I have the worst charisma in my group and for some weird Devine reason I roll like Nat 20’s on the rolls involved with charisma, and I have a MINUS 2 to charisma.
Every time i think i seen all these i find another one i havent watched yet. This series is truly awesome and adorable. Its making me want to make little felt puppets too (and makes me wanna play dnd)
I was smiling and laughing the entire time. I have a hard time choosing which route I like best, but so far this one is one of my favorite so far, although I can't figure out why just yet. Maybe it was the last half with Phthonus and Mammon. I felt so bad for you when you were picking the worst options right out of the gate. But I'm glad you got it eventually and that you really enjoyed it. I love how Eros ships it so hard. Also I really like the thumbnail
My party has a few french players and both of them have played kobolds, sometimes we would have trouble understanding them as some of us aren't great at accents(Don't worry, we try to make sure everyone is heard). So we headcannoned it that Draconic is just french.
Dude i can just imagine if one of them get kidnapped the others would do a whole plan mission impossible themed and while they plan it out one of em just walks in and and gets the job done and/or it goes terribly wrong for the others
I had players thinking of draconic as some kind of romance language. Then they started speaking in the draconic, and I had to explain how they were speaking using a combination of guttural roars and body postering while holding their arms back to mimic wings. It was basically impersonating a T-Rex while doing the chicken wing. 😂
will these eventually be full episodes? cause i gotta say this is some of the most charming, and hilarous entertainment ive seen in years and i love it!
Common: Spanish, German, Dutch, and English. Dwarvish: Swedish mixed with Sami and Komi. Elvish: French mixed with Norwegian, spoken with Scottish pronouncations. Halfling: Cornish mixed with Welsh. Gnomish: Elvish but with Texan pronunciation and some Korean sprinkled in. Fey: Danish opera mixed with Russian. Also, lots of whistles and clicks. Draconic: Drunken Polish mixed with Mongolian. Giant: Just a bunch of grunts mixed with random hard consonants that somehow sounds cohesive. Goblin: Greenlandic mixed with Romanian. Fiendish: Really aggressive Arabic mixed with Sotho. Celestial: Not really a language non-Celestials can speak, but can still understand. It would probably sound like erupting volcanoes, trumpets of war, rushing rivers, and singing choirs.

The odd thing I have noticed is all the players, especially new players who take on Draconic as a language. It is one of the more useful languages to pick in dragonlance settings.
Sauriv waere korth. Yth gethrisj. (The cave looks evil and dangerous. we should go.) that's draconian for you. tho pronouncing it is a different story. My favorite character is named Bensvelk Vur Malsvir, which frankly interprets as "good and bad", but really he's just chaotic evil. stay frosty!
It'd be funny in dnd if you had primary languages, secondary languages, and so forth, there should be language/translation checks. Primary languages you speak and understand fluently, so no check required. But every language you're weak against requires a roll to see if you say it or understand it correctly. And the weaker you are with the language, the higher the roll that's needed.

What a beautiful singing voice Kyborg has!

There it is :)
This happened to me once, but I rolled a 1 and basically insulted all draconians... Including myself as my character was also draconian...
Bruh, your character must have forgotten how to speak your own character.
How does that even work. People aren't just forgetting their native language and saying they hate entire races.

“Peps-“
“PEPSI?! NO!”
