It's not like everyone reads every single comment that's ever been posted before making their own comment. On top of that, TH-cam's comment system is absolute garbage anyway, making it very difficult to find anything. It's entirely plausible that they never saw your comment. And even if they had, I've seen the "basic answer: we die" on quite a few videos so far, so one could say the same about your comment. Not me, because I believe there's room on the internet for the same comment to appear more than once. And that's OK.

I feel like a sudden movement on that scale would force the Earth's crust itself to function like a liquid. In fact, it probably would cause immense thermal energy to build up, melting the surface.
Alternative idea: What if the earth decelerated spinning to a stop in 24 hours? That would change the short term consequences a bit

This was already put in a full documentary in Nat.Geo channel years ago called Aftermath: When the Earth Stops Spinning.
You should look at it. I know though that some of it accounts are a bit outdated than in comparison with our advanced data today. It still a good look of what happened to our planet when put in this perilous situation. It doesn't mean the end of all life and human civilization. It would be just adapting into a new world.

It’s a joke, I am well aware that the equator is rotating the fastest at 1600 km/h and everything is moving relative to you however you could possibly that you would hit something such as terrain or literally anything else and you would become a human pancake. I watched the full video multiple times and possibly I made that it was a joke unclear, I’ll keep this in mind for the future. You should really go watch this video, not just the short. The tsunamis would be so tall and moving so fast they would sweep everything not on a mountain away. It's a pretty grim outlook for people. Shit. Even the winds it would generate, again at roughly 1000 mph, would toss most airplanes right out of the sky.
