Gravel riding at it's best | 2 climbs 1 boar and a slightly less creaking Canyon Grizl gravel bike

- Hoge Kempen in Belgium is one of my favourite areas to ride a gravel bike. This time the ride got even spicier with 2 climbs, an encounter with a wild boar and the heat. Thanks to www.gravelritten.nl for this stunning route!

Reminds me of my vacation riding the narrow farm roads in Flanders. You’ve got some premium horse carriage trails.
Belgium definitely has a certain feel to it and it's roads, I absolutely love it there (for riding 😅).

Hahahaha, Boar & Bike is a great name! But it was indeed a great day. PF BB indeed, but it's not the BB that is creaking, it's the Canyon seatpost thing. Go and have a nap, mate! You deserve it after watching one of my videos....
There's a lot of horses on the gravelroads here in the forrest area of Oslo, but they all seem to have got used to cyclist as they probably encounter 100+ riders every day. Sheeps and goats on the other hand is a different story and let's not forget the moose, the bears and the wolfs!
I think we get the occasional wolf here, but besides boars that's about it. Oh yeah, we have some areas where there are those Scottish Highland cows with the big horns. You don't want to get super close to those things, some of them don't like that.
I'm just extra careful around horses because both my kids ride horses and I know horses can sometimes just spook and start running. So, it's probably just me being cautious and thinking "if that was my kid on that horse, I wouldn't want a guy on a bike come flying by".

@@MaartenOverweg I have the Grizl CF 6 I have pretty much changed everything on it but I really enjoy it. Yes it would be cool to see your set up etc. also cool how you show your rides it is much more lifestyle and that is a good thing not so commercial. cheers

@@MaartenOverweg I changed almost everything, made it one by changed the crankset to grx. Changed the handlebars to lauf bars, Niner RDO seat post, selleitalia saddle, LUN gravel carbon wheel set, Conti terra speed tires. its about 17pounds.

Thanks mate! I have the GoPro 10. When I bought it, I googled " best settings for cycling" and followed the instructions of some guy who made a youtube video about it. It's 4k, 30 fps, superview with the hypersmooth set to boost (I have no idea what I just said). If you want to have the settings in more detail, let me know.

I also have a GoPro 10 and I'm quite happy with it. Have added the media mod as well for better audio.
@@VeloViking Same, it works fine for me. I might also get the media mod. But currently just have a cheap windbreaker thing and that works okay-ish.
