As a bus driver myself, I got lost once in Surbiton during a diversion on K2 route. I was sweating. Radio transmission with the controller was very poor but my lovely passengers guided me and helped me. Trust me there are so many nice people out there
You are so kind. If I was in that predicament I would hope someone would help me get back on my route to wherever. Shows some people have a heart of gold.
Hey remind me off Crabtree Avenue in Edgeside when residents are badly parked I’ve had to help the bus get through. It’s the @Rossobus number 10 route between Rawtenstall and Edgeside hourly service.
Not everyone appreciates their hardships being recorded for all the world to see. Particularly if someone's of a disadvantaged disposition already. It's tantamount to gossip, which is life shortening - the same with "exposing" people, rather than reproving them for an error.
@freeland just helping...in *who's* eyes? I don't mean to come across as beligerant about the issue, but it's one that can chip away at someone - a piece at a time. If he was just there to "help", then he could quite simply have done exactly that, and not gone through the effort of videorecording it - maybe against the wishes of the driver who might not (really) have appreciated it (or felt that the "excuse" "he's got a right to film in a public place") might have been thoughtlessly lobbed at him at only his expense, and his expense alone. Civilization fought for centuries for the right to remain private. That wasn't done by accident, there was a very justifiable reason for it - it prolongs life.
A surprise for sure to see a London bus in your street, when there's probably never been one there before. This video shows just how badly the streets are ruined with cars doing absolutely nothing, just wasting road space.
Do bus drivers have to memorise every single road and what ones buses can get through, which ones are one way and which direction, even if it's a temporary rail replacement service?

Really rare in the USA. To my eyes at least
Thank you for actaully helping the fella instead of just recording and doing nothing like most people do

That's good of you to help out and being so understanding. We can all make mistakes but some are to big to hide.

That's nice of you. Similar thing happened to me when the bus driver got lost on diversion, sometimes it isn't that clear
That was nice helping that fella one time i did the wrong turn but somebody helped me /not you somebody else\

People must be wondering why is there a double-decker bus coming down the road and bus never goes down here 1:38

This video shows that bus drivers are human and make mistakes too.

They have to learn the specific route their doing, no GPS
Rail replacement drivers sometimes get a map or are sign posted for directions
He don't know where's the pllace
LMAO 😂😂
🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
