So I'm pretty sure this game is the mom stressing out about her baby (aka demon child) and doesn't know what to do so resorts to feeding the child tons of painkillers and sleep medications in hopes of calming down the baby, and in the last round the mother murders the baby out of stress. There is a better ending where you can just wait a bit and spare the baby
I believe it works if you stare at it without any cover and he is looking at you you die it seems he used the bread that was in the plate to take cover and then just straight up ignored it as far as I think the game its supposed to demonstrate the stress or frustration of having a kid hence why it gets worse until the end and why theres pills although I guess you could just look for this game in Manlybadasshero he explains this and dies till he understands why or how it works
