Great great video!!! Two thumbs up 👍🏾! What an absolute treat to see those beauties going up and down Mt. Messenger. Hats off to those drivers who have to travel up and down those mountains. Thank you for the content. I’d like to see more of those beautiful trucks.
Definitely one of my favourite stretch of highway for photography, especially the 4x8 low loader unit, especially well driven and equipped, I would even say our driver's are the best especially line up with the best fleet's of truck makes in the world, and our goat tracks for highway, 😅😅😅.
Over here in the USA 🇺🇸, cabover semis are rare. They use to be common over here back in the 1980s & down. When length restrictions changed, cabovers started to phase out & get replaced by more conventional cabs. In other words, the overall length limit increased which made cabovers no longer needed. Before that, tractor & trailer hooked together weren't allowed to exceed 65ft in length.
Been in Ozzie 14 years now driving milk tankers in the south west Vic around Otways. Really miss doing the awakino gouge Mount messenger run to Newplymouth from TeAwamutu doing bulk fertiliser with RMD.
Nice video, And how beautiful to see different models, both American and European. Bro, you can take one of your videos and upload it, leaving the credits on it. Greetings from Colombia ✌🏽😎
15:08 SAR Legend - nice. I also liked the Dynes K200. K220 is out there but I'm yet to see one here in Sydney. Looking everyday driving home on the highway.
A couple trucking companies are starting to run K220's on our highways here in New Zealand, they're still a very rare sight though. We have plenty of K200's on our highways however.
Yes, the Kaimais are a great place to film I have a few videos uploaded on my youtube page. I've spent many days up there taking photos and filming it's a very busy road
Good careful truck driving. It could be a training video with no crazy overtaking. . I like the way the land face is widened and how about those "truck-trains" compared with the Scania long
10:30 This is a fh13 to be suffering in the climb like that and think here in Brazil we put even more weight in the Fh540, job that should be taken by Fh16 but our legislation don't allow by stupid reasons like weight excess at the front axle We had a case where two Scania 770S had to be assembled with small tanks and no retarder brake, due to this reason there was excess weight in the front axle.
Agreed, it was the only one we saw with that configuration. I love watching these vids from NZ as the sheer variety of the trucks they have is fascinating to someone sitting 10,000 miles away.
Loving the detailed footage of the routes around Mt Messenger. It really gives a sense of the adventure and challenges of trucking there

Pollock's 240t rated C509 - rare in NZ.

Yeah the K200 are a dime a dozen here.
Awesome videos bro. Seem to be a few trucks on that corner where there gearbox says I don't want that gear or that one uh this one will do
Hi Yarnick the road was very greasy that day a lot of trucks were losing traction
Uh i forgot my messager gets like that haha hows thing back home @willbishoptrucksnewzealand3826
Mate that would be amazing if you came up to the Kaimai Ranges, there are a few good spots, Tauriko School, and the lookout at the summit.

@willbishoptrucksnewzealand3826 yeah, I go up there sometimes, so look out for a brown haired kid with a hat filming them.
👍👍. Die Straße ist in der Kurve nicht genug breit für lange Lkw.

Number of wheels, how many tons of cargo can be carried?
Just Google all your Questions, Google will have all the Answers you're looking for
@@CaptainKedahthx bro
@@CaptainKedah Google's not 100% all the time.
Max weight limit for trucks in New Zealand is 44 tonnes without a permit, and up to 62 tonnes with the right permit.
@@dallasfrost1996we are probably just over that weight limit when we shift our cat 627’s we just take the back roads though 😂
Good show
Nice Great 🚛
Your videos are so relaxing. Btw does anyone know where I can find a study guide specifically for the CDL permit test in New Jersey?
I dont see any blue cap def tanks must be nice to let the trucks actually work like they were intended to
I take that back i did see a few , sorry must be regulated like us americans

15:22 is an unusual set up... 😮
Agreed, it was the only one we saw with that configuration. I love watching these vids from NZ as the sheer variety of the trucks they have is fascinating to someone sitting 10,000 miles away.
That trailer configuration is one of our older versions of a B-train unit. Majority of the B-trains on our roads nowadays are the newer type (17:25).
