This is from Super Vocals, they had a challenge were they could sing solo, in doubles or in a trio group, Zhou Shen went solo as he was so scared of failing and bringing some one down with him. Out of the 3 he won and because of that he sang Memory against a group of 2, He won that two. He was I think 22 when he first stepped foot on the stage at The Voice of China and he was 26 here on Super Vocals. He just turned 30 on the 29th of September this year and his 8th year of being on the stage, he has achieved so much in 8 years.
I just wanted to hug him on Super Vocal when he was the only one going into the Solo room alone, saying he didn't want to drag others down with him. So talented, so sweet, and so much self-doubt and fear of being bad. Thank goodness shows like this helped him get encouragement, support, and blossom.

As always, our little angel Zhou Shen's singing can melt ppl's 💕 As I remember, all team leaders & many candidates wanted to sing with Zhou Shen in this program and it's subsequent concerts. There's a funny comment for an interview episode saying the leaders interviewed all the candidates except Zhou Shen who's being 'persuaded' to join! 😂😂
And his face so cute when they were going from car to car and the principals saying he had to choose their group. Then afterwards when Ayanga picked him, and Wang Xi, I think?, wanted to negotiate to get him instead.

Do you think Charlie can be in Broadway take into his hight into consideration? I think one big reason that Charlie is not singing a lot of opera is because of his hight, it’s hard to match a character😢
Prettiest male grown up voice u would hear in the world!!but why Oscars, Grammy never give Asians any chances to shine??!!not very racial equality.or???Asian life matter too!!!I am a singer too. If I sing in England karaoke,often DJ double checked if I really want to sing??can I sing??I can sing in 6 languages too.after I sang.they all want my signature or if I could sing for their wedding, why are u not famous singer by now...etc ?? I can sing like Zhou Shen. Instead,I often only got bully, attacked for no reasons.
Frankly, BTS and other Kpop.stars are being recognized and celebrated in the West... and part of that is the Korean government and international diplomacy putting energy into them as "soft power". We don't get much culture from China at all, but I read that China is paying attention to how Korea is using this culture as "soft power" internationally. We might see more MandoPop in the future. I agree there is a lot of anti-Asian racism. In movies and TV, Asian men are usually weird geeks, comical characters, or martial arts experts. There are only now starting to barely have more roles. For a very long time, only Li Shang in Mulan was a romantic male lead in Disney movies for instance. Apparently they didn't include him in the live action? And Donny Osmond, of all people, did Li Shang's singing voice. Ridiculous with all the amazing Chinese singers. Shang-Chi was a good Chinese superhero male lead, though once again... a martial arts expert. Covid didn't help anti-Asian racism at all. Best of luck with singing. I hope Asian talent is known more worldwide.
