Congratulations Aditya sir!...Can you please tell what were your initial gt ranks when you started to prepare with marrow? And please comment on Rakesh sir's medicine videos...these are huge and I spend lot of time to finish the videos.
Congratulations Aditya ... & thank you for sharing your prepare story as i was in confusion should i write or borrow notes... your description is useful..
To the Point Interview great sir, I always watch interviews telling "you write down in your own handwriting" and stuff , even my handwriting is worse, so your advice does matter alot to me , and how about marrow pearls sir ? Did you write them down and add them to your notes ?
Doing video of a chapter in 2x just takes 30 min. But then, doing q bank and then Noting down the explanation takes a lot of time, and most of portions in the q bank explanation and additional info are totally not taught in video or in notes of marrow. So by this way, i am able to answer only 2 or 3 modules per day! Sir please advice, am i wasting time? And why is this q bank explanation taking a lot of time to note into the marrow notes.
Hi Aniroodh, I can understand what you are saying. The bookmark feature should help you solve this problem. Lengthy explanation are better bookmarked than taken down in the notes. And 20-30 min per qbank module is ideal as you can complete a good number of modules in 3 to 4 hours. Prioritize questions so that only very high yield ones are written in notes. Hope this helps. :)
@@Dr.Aniroodh best way to do that is to see hashtags. Some have high yield or aiims or neet written underneath the questions. Or if something is entirely new better to write it down. Rest bookmarking is better.
No since 2018 Dec I have just solved marrow mcqs and GTs. For central institute exams I did previous year question papers. aiims questions are available on marrow Pgi I had an McQ book Jipmer questions were available online.
sir pls tell that should I read all those lengthy standard text books? Are those worth giving time? Or should I focus on video lectures & Q banks along with grand tests (in short are videos+Q banks enough for good rank). By the way I'm a 3rd year student.
in case u have not followed abbas ali sir ( the boneteacher ) , u must know that there is no replacement to standard textbooks ! In ur pre final and final focus on ur textbooks first and along that if u want u can take help frm videos to get ur concepts clear .
Hi! I'm a post intern, I have not read standard texts and it's crazy..right now..i don't understand a lot of things, and I specially feel new to a lot of things..that's when I've done coaching since 2nd year. I only read patho and pharm and those are the only two subjects I feel confident about. So there's no point even thinking of it..wish I could go back but I can't. But here's the deal..if you have problem reading texts..read the imp 10 year topics only from standard texts..in any institute they cover almost everything important..concept wise...rest you can do from marrow..also dont even think about reading a previous year textbook..tbh. unless you've already read and you're reviewing for your proff exams..it's a lot 4th year in particular. Also I'd say park is negotiable..so just as much is required for your proff. So is ent. They'll be covered fine later. Med surg obg pedia..please try as much as possible..not full..just important topics you'll be fine. Also take aid from marrow..do the relevant video before so that you have an orientation what to highlight.
Without watching videos can we study through marrow notes ,heard that it has empty spaces, have to fill it while watching videos . Can we make marrow notes as a only source of studying without videos
Congratulations Aditya!! All the best for the future
