    I used a sawsall to cut any exposed roots to give at least 7 inches of soil to plant grass seed. I was able to get as close as four feet of the stump. I drilled holes in stump and applied ep. salt. Later I used sawsall to criss cross top of stump and now cut away starting from outside of stump on an angle and will continue until stump is gone.

    Use a swasall, less of a mess and won't rip out all the grass

    Your vife mow the lawn! My vife did that once and me in my youthful stupidity had the audacity to comment the result in a negative way. I have been mowing the lawn since then.......

      @@mikesworld60 in Sweden a lawn is called a “gräsmatta”. It would translate to grass rug or grass mat. My “gräsmatta” is more of a ”Grönmatta” like, a rug of green due to the amount of weeds...
