3:58 why does the 2 become a 64 instead of a 12? The other exponents(like a3) didn't be come like 108. That doesn't make any sense.
Because 2 to the 6th power means 2x2x2x2x2x2, not 2x6. Does that help?

Hello, -2 to the sixth power would be written out as -2*-2*-2*-2*-2*-2*, because a negative times a negative equals a positive, it becomes positive 64
