Kéž by mi to někdo prozradil před rokem! Hodně zdraví!
Hi - as someone also from Dorset, who has lived on the outskirts of Sofia for a handful of years, I noticed your channel. My wife and I have driven a few times back and forth to the UK, so it was interesting to see your route and experiences. I'm not sure if your going to be spending winter in BG, but if your not living in a flat in town then you need to be prepared. You need lots and lots of wood for the cold months, several cubic meters isn't out of the norm for us. We've got a 4x4 and don't live in a particularly rural location - the snow plough isn't always regular; and snow can easily turn to ice. So plan to be sometimes cut off; that includes the occasional electricity outage. That comment about preparing for winter food makes sense - but if it was me I'd simple go to a supermarket and buy some good quality Лютеница first :-) Enjoy your time in BG.
Thanks very much for your comments ! Our route changes every time we travel to and from the UK, it was a short one recently. One of our preferred is through Hungary, which we love, Romania and in through Vidin. On our way back to the UK we usually try and explore different countries, so recently we spent 4 days in Bosnia and last year spent 10 days in Croatia followed by travelling through Switzerland, 36 degrees to 4 inches of snow in the space of 3 days ! Thanks for all your advice at the moment we spend about half the year back in the UK so will not be here in winter but never say never !
The bathroom in that apartment is really nice and for a change has the shower with a door and away from the toilet. LOL you dress as safely as Darren does when doing 'dangerous' things. 🤪
Thanks guys, The apartment was great. After many years in the motor trade and building trade I've come to the conclusion that common sense is the most important safety gear LOL :)
