Nice to se old good equipment being sorted and brought back to lift.
Regards boards, you did check for continuity at the bourned traces? Carbnonised boards can easily conduct.
You did change all drivers and output transistors? If the 3 remainders have been put to use, yet again, they are most likely prone to fail in near future, due to different dye size ( Not being from same batch as the new ordered).

Hello! Thank you thank you. Thank you so much for watching my video and commenting. I really appreciate it.
I explain in the video that burned PCPs are conductive and I scraped off the burned areas with a dental tool, but maybe it was edited out to keep the video short and entertaining.
Sorry if I edited that part out as it should have been in the video.
All the output transistors on the bad channel were replaced with new ON SEMI matching transistors from the same batch and purchased from Mouser Electronics.
It would be a horrible idea to mix in new transistors with the old ones that have been subjected to conditions that made other transistors fail.
Imagine throwing away all that time, effort and resources just to save a few dollars by re using three old abused transistors.
      Not on my watch teammate!
When I fix a unit, it is done in a certain way so that it last for decades on end.

Hi I fix many Mcintosh 275 and some Briston Amplifiers.
    Nice dog.
One question do you fix audio gear for hobby or earn money?
    Best Regards.

      Hello Ricardo!
Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for watching my video!
Fixing audio gear is my hobby therapy and art form but lately friends have been asking me to fix their gear and they pay me.
I usually do not fix gear for strangers as people want to be in control of of the repair and I need to express myself fully and as I see fit.
I usually purchase vintage gear, restore it, use it for a while and then sell it on eBay when I run out of space because I keep purchasing stuff.
By purchasing broken gear and then selling it on eBay, I usually make some money but not much.
      🙂🙏

Wow! That’s absolutely amazing! Where do you get your Mcintosh parts?
Do you order from Mcintosh Labs?
Brian Scott Fromm the parts department is an absolutely amazing human being.
Always willing to help and it’s also amazing the amount of parts that Mcintosh still carries.
Don’t hesitate to reach out if you ever have trouble finding a part.
Or service manual for Mcintosh . I have a quite extensive library of Mcintosh service manuals.
      😄👍💥💥💥
