The people who do stuff like this with a laser have lost sight of the big picture! Prior generations had to do this work by hand. It required a skilled artisan, a trained, maser craftsman. That's what made it special. If its done by a machine, its just one more mass produced, easily reproducable commodity. With 3d scanning, anyone can make copies. I think that some people just don't understand those things!
