These kids nailed it. Zoot Suit is one of my all-time favorite plays and movies. I've even seen Luis Valdez himself play with his wife Lupe in it in San Juan Bautista. the costumes and dancing are fabulosos.
For this being a high school production.You all did a fantastic job with the dances and the pachuco moves.I love those zoot suits you were wearing .They are real fime .My jefito used to wear them back in the 40's and early 50's .Great job.

These kids did a wonderful job on this play, they are so professional. My grandson who is in middle school in Orlando, when they put on a play you would never believe they are middle school kids they are so professional.
I am so impressed with these kids. Where did they find all of these awesome zoot suits? I wish the girls’ costumes were as accurate as the boys. Is this a performing arts high school? It easily could be.
The kid's are dressed up like the real pachucos back in the days, but the girls are dressed like any other girl from the 21st century, girls that were with pachucos,dressed in long skirts below the knee and dresses below the knee, not mini skirts, by the way how do I know,I'm 68 and I used to to see my uncles and aunts dressed up as pachucos
