One of the best and complete reviews I’ve ever watched. Just bought this vehicle in Red Crimson for $15,000. Original sticker price was $45,000. Vehicle was a one owner car and now has 107,000 miles on it. No accident and regular maintenance. I’m feeling Blessed!
Love my SRX! I'm a 40 year old male and I just got the fully loaded Premium SRX AWD. I got a great deal on a new 2011 leftover on Jan. 30 2012. LOVE IT! GET ONE!
I was on my way to buy a Benz GLK and passed by a Cadillac dealership in Beachwood, OH so now fastforward a few hours and I just parked my certified Performance SRX in my garage. Love it!! Your awesome video just affirmed my choice. Your right about the attention to details. Hubba, hubba! Going back tomorrow for my technology lesson. Thanks again!
This video couldn't have come at a better time...My family is looking for a new vehicle and this is a contender..and I just logged on and found this video. Perfect in depth review...I feel like we don't even need to go test drive it anymore. Thanks Kyle!
My mom had the 14' version of the srx... I will say, it was a nice car to ride in and drive... She just got the xt5 and I'm Looking forward to experiencing that over Thanksgiving...
Ok until this Video i wasnt sure about the features of this vehicle ; but now im certain that this is the car i want. Thank You so so much for this posting i will be picking mine up shortly :)
The telescoping divider in the rear of the car is called the U-Rail System. It was developed by Saab. I didn't realize it had made it's way into other GM vehicles, but it only makes sense as the SRX is a re-badged Saab 9-4X.
my mom wanted this caddie suv this one has a lot of features that Kyle just showed. Also lots of storage in the back for groceries, camping, fishing, etc. It's a very big suv. Keep up with the videos kyle. Great job.
My parents recently leased an SRX for themselves. It's the luxury collection with FWD, navigation, panoramic sunroof, and heated seats. The headlamps don't have LEDs, though and there are no fog lamps. The 3.6 packs a lot of power though.
this is probably my favorite american car brand. just looks well made and good design. very nice interiors compared to other american cars. quite impressive.
Very good, highly informative tour about this remarkable crossover. In the past, Cadillac had been rightly criticised for its disappointingly cheap interior finishes. On this new model the interior is designed tastefully and executed beautifully. In fact, it's equal to the best I've seen so far. Extra praise to GM for resisting the temptation to put a 10 L engine in it, like they used to. (OK., OK 8.2L ☺)
Wow im left speechless! I mean im glad u made this cuz i just realized hiw much GM took the time to think about the customers whem making this. So many nice details and other things. I like the turn signal light indecator for the inside! I wish my mom would buy one cuz i like it but i dont wanna own a SUV!
Not a fan of the overwrought styling and the porky-for-a-crossover dimensions, but I have to say your tour shed light on a lot of cool details that make me think twice about it, especially that clever partition in the boot. Great vid!
7:40 “Very large” Have you seen the sunroof on the previous generation SRX, that thing is a behemoth. And the crazy part was the whole thing opened all the way.
Very impressed by the navigation console/radio interface. It's not perfect, but unlike in some vehicles, the touch interface actually appears to respond promptly and fluidly, rather than having quite a delay. A delay in a touchscreen interface would annoy the hell out of me.
How has it kept up? I've seen a Redline review of this car and that reviewer said it's slow compared to its competitors. 0-60 in 8 seconds is horrible compared to the RX or X3/X5. But how the reliability?
Ness Rosenbrad 8 Seconds? No. Mine has a K&N air filter, and does 0-60 in slightly under 7 seconds. Slower than the BMW? Yes. Slower than the Lexus? No. At 60,000 miles, never a single issue, except when I get a curb going 35, and the wheel bearing hub went out, but my warranty covered it. Only thing I can complain about is fuel economy. The 3.6 with the 6 speed really slurps fuel.
I'm sort of disappointed in the new SRX. The old was a fantastic seven-seater. This one is a little too small and a little too heavy. I think it'd be better if it was lighter so it could make better use of the engine it's got. Otherwise, a pretty nice car, and as always Kyle, great videos!
i rented a rav4 from hertz, but instead they gave me this cadillac for the same price as the rav4, cuz they messed up with the shipping stuff, anyways, i had it for a week and i gotta admit, it was the best week of my life
Awesome review!!! Now I don't know!!! 2011 Cadillac XRS Performance vs 2011 Buick Enclave CXL (has a third row seat).....we r planning to start a family and any of these two would serve our future needs. Thanks again!!!
They are pretty reliable, from what I've seem in consumer reports, if you ever buy one, make sure to have a warranty with it! - have worked on one (inside) and it's quite nice, but cargo room, and back seat is right. Other than that great vehicles! (Not sure if it helped at all)
@brettspointofview Parking assist are the sensors on the rear (sometimes front if you buy the option) of the vehicle that beep faster as you get closer to objects when backing up. In the front they beep if you get to close to the vehicle in front of you! :-)
Well today me and my dad started to go shoping and test driveing SUV for my mom my sister is takeing my moms 2004 Volvo XC90 when she drives so today we test drove a Volvo XC60 Cadillac SRX and BMW X5 the model SRX that we test drove was the Premium AWD it was a white one but i don't know what Engine that it was in the one that we test drove.
@wil48823 good point! They both share the GM Theta luxury platform .I love Saabs but I hate to admit the interior of the SRX trumps the new 9-4x. Still I am glad things worked out for both GM and SAAB parting ways
That's a nice Cadillac yesterday me and my family went to the Chicago auto show yesterday we were looking for SUV for my mom well my sister is going to drive soon and she is going to take my moms 2004 Volvo XC90 so this thing is on her list to test drive.

It is a gorgeous car! Love mine!
@@mingram15 love mine too! Just got it
Ikr. Wish they didn’t discontinue it :( I like the SRX much better than the XT5.. just much more simple!
Mine’s long gone, I drive a 2020 Acura MDX now.
This is actually a great suv. I'm impressed with the good quality GM has been employing in production of their newer products.

You're the most in-depth reviewer I've come across on TH-cam. You really sold that Cadillac & made it accessible to the average consumer.
I like
One of the best reviews I have ever seen. Great job! I absolutely love the amount of detail that you went into.
I love Cadillac in particular 2011 and 2012 are very reliable. Super cozy

Escalade and CTS had a baby
Yes they did
My mom had the 14' version of the srx... I will say, it was a nice car to ride in and drive... She just got the xt5 and I'm Looking forward to experiencing that over Thanksgiving...
the hazard lights on the dash are soo cool!

Love the inside brown interior and the interior start up
Excellent review, picking my 2011 up tomorrow!
How is that holding up for you? Have you been taking it to the mechanic shop twice a month for repairs as it falls apart? 😂
@@andylewis.6036 🤣I never bought one
@@andylewis.6036 that's what happens when you don't stay up on your maintenance.

Thanks for this video! I'm about to invest in a 2011 SRX with 113,000 miles that is very clean inside and out...again, THANKS!

Really really great love this Cadillac SRX 😍

I've seen this car here where I live a couple of times and in reality it looks FANTASTIC!
BEST REVIEW EVER...not kidding. and awesome car..I have srx 2005 and this car makes mine look baddd
I've had my 2010 for over one year now; great vehicle - no complaints.
please do the all new 2017 xt5 thanks!
Kyle I pulled up to at white Genesis yesterday just like yours. I instantly thought of you! Beautiful car :)
I can't help but find this car really beautiful. It's a pity Cadis never comes to my country. Great job, Kyle!
This is such an awesome car!!! I’m a huge fan of Cadillac. They did a great job with the car.
I love this crossover!! I might have to beg for one this fall for college ;)
Did you ever get one
same as the Saab 9-4 X ?
The clear signals on the instrument cluster that light up when you hit the hazards are really cool! Great vid as always Kyle!
My favorite car i ever owned i love it
Great video, thanks for sharing!
I have the same one n love it
What a very sleek and smooth SUV.
7:40 “Very large” Have you seen the sunroof on the previous generation SRX, that thing is a behemoth. And the crazy part was the whole thing opened all the way.
I own a first gen am just waiting for the day its warm enough to open it
I haven't seen it before 🤔
very beautiful car
To me, and as I've seen where I live. This is another hit Cadillac offers after the cts. reliable and good seller.
Is it Front wheel Drive ??
this caddy is great
one of my favorite caddys !!
I wonder if it has adjustable suspension. It seems there are no comfort or sport modes, but does the suspension adjust to your local road quality?
want this car so bad.. even more so after watching this video.. great job!

your video are amazing like the others!!
congratulationsfor all your work
This has a much nicer interior than the 08 CTS I tested.
this suv looks so damn comfortable
Brennan Storm It is. My 2013 rides like a CLOUD.

i like the push in- to pop the fuel lid, rather than a mechanical fuel lid release.
Nice cozy interior.
these interiors are such a HUGE step forward from 5 years ago with GM.

Thanks, Never seen a good review of one of these until now
I got the 2012 edition...love it
Who’s still driving a 2011 3.0 SRX 10 years later?
What problems have you had?
That is a sexy car!! I love Cadillacs always have since I was 2 years old!! I’m thinking about getting one of these for my very first car!
Brilliant video!!!!! I learned so much, especially the pedal adjust> Cheers!!!!
This guy is better than a pro :3
My neighbor has a 2012 SRX. Can anyone tell me how reliable these things are? I thought about buying a used luxury car and the SRX is on my list.
Don't buy it over 100,000 miles
Sweet! I almost missed seeing this one. Nice job Kyle.
These 3.0 srx good reliable cars?
Cadillac, once again the standard of the world.
What is park and assist?
مرحبا كيف احصل ع اطار الخارجي الاسود للمصابيح الامامي في الدعاميه

Hey Kyle, you think you could do a 3rd generation Camaro/Trans AM or a Mark 3 Supra, I would love to see a video or two on those.
My car system has went completely mute how do I injure my vehicle everything is coming up Bluetooth radio but there's no sound
Whats the difference between the srx and the escalade
Just wondering about the reliability in the next 5years. Considering getting one as the price is really affordable

Hey Kyle im just wondering if this is an old vid or if this was taken right now cuz i see that you are very light dressed?
could you tell me how to turn the traction control off in this vehicle? thanks.
@saabkyle04 What do you mean by partial? The turn signals are incandescent and the brakes are LED correct?
Hi saabkyle, when are you going to do your test drive of your Fairlane?
great review! Very in depth review. nice car too. nice job kyle. can you do a jeep wrangler 4 door please?
Can you do one with a Lincoln MKX thanks brother
Everyone forgets the headlight washers. They're the square shapes on each side of the headlights.
40k for great looking car - why not + it's allroad
2:23, leather shift boob?
can u review the audi q7 or porsche cayanne (suv)
lol 1:08 why is ur key located there?
@sainteustatious 2WD on the Cadillac SRX is actually FWD. So you can still go in the snow. But like Kyle said AWD is available.
whats a sexy good first car. I dont have a big budget at allll but ive had my liscence for a long while now with no car lol. help me decide!
Just noticed the rear blinkers were not LED.
this made me cry--if i ever win the lottery, i'll ship one out to ya, no joke!
Lots of little neat features in this crossover!
@saabkyle04 did you do buick enclave yet?
