- If you know me, you know my thoughts about Ibanez guitars. However, the Ibanez Xiphos XPT 700 in Red Chameleon has truly impressed me! In this video, we'll dive into a detailed review and put it to the test.
I'll be playing it through my Mesa Roadking 2 Dual Rectifier and Mesa Rectifier Standard Cabinet, using Shure SM57 and Beta 57 microphones, along with a Maxon OD808 overdrive pedal, as usual.

Selamlar Tolga abi, çocukluğumdan beri elektro gitar çalmak istiyorum ve şimdi almak nasip oldu. Başlangıç seviyesi olmak üzere yaklaşık 300 ve 500 dolar arası bir bütçem var. Abi, Japon jackson DXMG gun metal grey ,kozmetik olarak çok temiz jackson hardcase le beraber 13.700 tl iyi fiyat mı? Kusura bakma danışma hattı gibi oldu biraz :)

Yurtdışından 900 1000 dolar civarı sıfır bi gitar getirteceğim aklımda jackson kv pro var. Şu an elimdeki jackson kvx i satacağım yani yine bi v istiyorum, tercihen yine bir jackson. Sence mantıklı mı? Jacksonda veya başka markalarda bu civarda daha iyi bir seçenek var mı? Engin bilgine sığınıyorum :)
The current Pro Series isn't much different from the X Series. To feel the difference, I would recommend picking a pre-2012 MIJ KV5 or a Demmel V. If those aren't available, a used 2013-2015 IWJ Indo Pro Series KV is a good alternative, as they are nearly as solid as a USA Select KV2, unlike the post-2015 Pro KV models.
This situation is similar for other brands as well. Nowadays, you need to spend over $2000 for a decent new instrument, but the production quality from a decade ago is generally superior to that of current models.

@@WrathVault I am not a big fan of signatured guitars except for Mustaine's. I wish i was lucky enough to find a KV Pro Mustaine Signature with a good price tag as you did. Doesn't matter how good it is if its Demmel signature. Of course its only about the connection between me and the guitar. I heard you said that you were a megadeth fan when you were younger. I am kinda 20 y.o. version of you so i think you can understand what i feel.
So it is what it is. And it seems hard to find a MIJ Jackson which costs around 1000-1100$ but anyway thanks for your advices. Besides that i really appreciate your channel, reviews are quite professional for 2.5k channel.

Very Jackson-like, especially the RR type. Thin but not like the ultra-thin Ibanez necks.
Why are all xiphos models downtuned? Does anybody play this guitar in standard E?
No idea dude. It’s a friends guitar and it was tuned like this. Trying to change the whole setup would be too much for a simple video but the sound of the E string would be really close to D#. You know it’s not an E vs A# type of difference.
