Track Listing: 0:00 - Welcome 9:50 - Bach Chorale/Congruence 20:32 - Carlos’ Idea 32:39 - Stardust 36:38 - You’re a Miracle 47:00 - It Don’t Take Much 1:00:14 - When She Really Smiles/Outro
When you told me you were bassist, I did not see that from this angle...it's serious ! You're face looks like a kid from a Norman Rockwell painting XD Anyway, this set is fantastic ! I really love jazz icons like Dizzy Gillespie, Bill Evans, Mills Davis, Chet Baker, Charlie "Bird" Parker, T. Monk and in first place Mr John Coltrane ! The 'Blue note' period is the holy graal of jazz era ("Jass" is the real name), so fantastic and so prolific ! "Blue in green" is the song i almost listen, at least once per week ! I'm pretty sure they borrowed some chords to Claude Debussy, but they have definitively opened a new path for music, mainly in harmonies and techniques !
This is "Both direction at Once : The Lost Album by John Coltrane Quartet" ! I found it on "Modern Vinyl" site in Deluxe edition 2xLP set Not too expensive 20 euros ! Thank you so much for the news ! And god save the Jazz ("Jass" : they put two Z letter to replace two S letter cause at the beginning, little kids erased the J letter on concert posters and it become "Ass" ! ) ... funny isn't it ? Greetings from France !
great band and playing not crazy about your mix though. looks like you've gone for ambient style mic on the sax which i think is a mistake with so much close by instruments

Hah, yep! I agree completely. You should check out the newly found/soon to be released Coltrane recordings if you haven't already.
