    What sucks is that, while Walz & Beshear are the 2 best picks, they both come from safe states. While there wouldn't be a electoral advantage with either of them, they would bring more young people to the voting booth. Walz has shown to be more witty & charismatic of the two, so I'm all in on Walz.

    Tim waltz has receipts. He’s done a lot in his state with a one vote majority. He’s going down the list and he’s checking them off.
    He is smart focused and she needs someone who has receipts. She needs someone who can get things done. What can she say She is done, but Tim can go down his list and say this is how you do it. .
    She needs someone who’s not just BS and air will make a difference in young folks lives.
    If she picks Shapiro, many of us are absolutely done. the independence will walk game over

      He sees only the Pennsylvania which they need & he fairly popular within state but I wouldn’t pick him because his statements on Gaza are gonna be brought up. Many Arab Americans who are in Wisconsin & Michigan might be like yeah I’m still out.
      She needs to appear at least wiling to entertain ceasefire even if she won’t & Josh kinda screws it. Tim Waltz is progressive he probably best person as a communicator & debater who would embarrass Vance. Waltz also has that Midwest appeal & he should be person in charge of campaigning in Midwest.

      Why do you like Pete? Because he's gay? He's been terrible as transportation secretary, he thought it'd require very little effort and under his leadership we've got planes falling apart mid air, trains derailing and spilling toxic chemicals into the water, every major port backed up and ships unable to unload cargo, which contributes to inflation as well as shortages. It's his job to regulate these things and he's either been too lazy or too corrupt to enforce the laws with his corporate masters.

      @@tonyphelps6723 well personally speaking, Beshear and Walz are my top 2! And I actually like Walz better. They are both fairly neck and neck but (and this is just my opinion at the moment) I think Beshear is more digestible for cross political appeal to swing voters. I think Walz definitely has appeal there too, but also more room for republican attacks. But then again, keeping Beshear in his current seat would be a good thing. Idk man I go back and forth but tend to lean more towards Beshear as I think he’s harder to campaign AGAINST!

    My decision about Kamala will boil down to how she handles the situation with Israel's genocide in Gaza. That will be my deciding factor, and if she continues to support the same policies that Biden pursued, I won't consider voting for her. Israel is my red line issue.

    Krystal is the only one I've seen in media talking about the liabilities of Shapiro. I've been loosing my head on it. Is it the most important issue to young people? For some yes, but not for most. However, it is a single issue that will make people stay home. It's like abortion used to be. It was never the most important issue for many Republicans, but the ones where it was the most important, they voted solely on that issue.
    Shapiro would cost her Dearborne, which would cost her Michigan, which would cost her the election. Cooper is better and she works with him.
    As for him being Jewish, I don't care. I'm Jewish. The 2nd dude is Jewish. I'd be happy to have a Jewish VP... but not one who compares protesters against a genocide to the KKK. That's not going to fly.

A Harvard poll found that just 32% said they followed the war in Gaza in the news even 'somewhat closely' and when asked if Israel's response was justified, 21% said yes and 47% said they didn't know. Only 32% said no. Thinking this is a major issue for young voters is a terminally online take.

    Gaza/Palestine is HUGE for a lot more voters -- It's just not covered on the news or the media. As someone who volunteers to those protests, meetings, and events, I see it firsthand.     Arizona doesn’t lose a Dem seat: Governor Hobbs is a Democrat and would appoint a Democrat successor to Kelly. The election for a new Senator wouldn’t happen until 2026.
    Arizona’s two current US Senators are both Democrats. It’s not unreasonable to think that the winner of the 2026 election would also be a Democrat.
