Thanks John. Well done and interesting to watch here in Canada. AC
Thanks AC , glad you enjoyed it ,
On the Coober Pedy train I assume the tanks behind the locos are fuel tanks? Is the carriage for crew? How long is the journey 😮
They are fuel tanks and that is a crew car , the distance from Coober Pedy to Whyalla is about 620 Km
Great video 👍🏻
Thanks , took a bit of travelling but worth it .
Pacific National and Aurizon locos working together ?
Yes , I wondered the same when I saw that , don't know why .
Stinkin' NRs?? The places they turn up LOL.
Don't know why they were on that train as Aurizon run those trains
Due to PN losing a couple of contracts, they have surplus locos, so lease them out.@@johnphillips592
@johnphillips592 id imagine it would have to be leased power, aurizon possibly didn't have the power around to run the service at the time.
how r the middle loco controled?
Radio
@@michlo3393 i though so i just wasn't sure thx for that
Some Distributed power units are radio controlled, others are controlled via trainline power if the train is ECP equipt
