"Everybody's Got to Learn Sometime" is a hit single written by James Warren and first performed by the pop band The Korgis, of which Warren was lead singer. The Dream Academy, produced by David Gilmour, did a great cover in the late 80s. Once again, Beck brings a great song to his listeners. An artist in respect. He certainly has mine.
The entire movie consists of incredibly beautifull music and images throughout. It's a peace of art that's not going to meet it's match. Awesome, intriguing movie and great music!
Considered by many to be the greatest version of "Everybody's Got To Learn Sometimes" (penned by James Warren of The Korgis) - until now! I have just discovered that The Korgis have just released an orchestral version which includes a new verse and is simply beautiful. Proving, yet again, that you can't keep a great song down.
Yes, some people just don't get it. Just as with many aspects of life, preferences such as food, art, aesthetic beauty, geographic location, personal appearance, and more, are all subjective. Music is also a subjective judgement on the part of the listener. Just because someone doesn't like a particular song, doesn't make it a bad song. Personally, I like that there are covers of songs, so I can choose to listen to the original, or choose to listen to a cover where an artist made it their own.
Liking the original better doesn't equate to a dislike of this version. Did you hit the dislike because you liked the original better? If so, what an ignorant push of a button.
I don't dislike this version at all, i just prefer the original. My point is that you shoudn't hate on people just because they don't like the same things as you do.
Que excelente pelicula,... ETERNO r e s p l a n d o r,... mas que hablar solo puedo recomendarla,....y para Tobilander y otros no es autoria de beck es una cancion de 1980 de la banda inglesa "Korgis"

Apparently, this song is a cover by an 80's pop band 'The Korgis'. Much prefer Beck's version though, the man's a genius.
