    28.9 is shown by both the baro sensor (in the ECU?) and the MAP; that shoul be the norm,but do you know if they both must *read the same* at Kon, Eoff, in all cars? i say this because i have seen cars runing well in which the MAP sensor reads lower,not quite sure if the MAP sensor has drifted a bit or not.

    Will a bad MAP sensor show a P0430/P0420 code? I'm not getting any of the codes for the MAP sensor. I don't believe the problem is the catalyst converter because the o2 sensors are covered in carbon.

    people dont give you shit for wearing your ase patches? I'm certified too, but haven't put them on my work shirts.

      No, they don’t. Some shops that I’ve worked at required them on the uniform shirts. We are an ASE Education Foundation accredited program so it helps, but not required here.
