I think this is a very cool idea. Depending on how they have this set up, a DIT could sit at the office and monitor all the DIT work remotely. We need more info on this device not enough info on this video to let us know what this device does and how it works regarding current workflows in the industry today.
Agreed! We are still working as DITs on set at big productions and have no intention to replace ourselves. Our plan is to get DITs to projects where they/we haven‘t been before. We see so many 2nd ACs, trainees or even producers that have to do data wrangling on top of their actual jobs… That‘s where we aim to make a difference.

2TB....when I go out as a DIT, I've to handle around 12TB a day. Even on Musicvideo shoots I've more than 2TB. Who is this aimed for?
