For example, requested items can be used in the follow-up process like inventory management, asset management, equipment management etc. 2. UI in demo looks good. But there is not something that is available for customers yet. Am I correct that there is a new UX that will be available to users in future (as stated in Ariba Roadmap)? Are there any planned dates (at least year) for this release?
There are different options. By the company themselves (internal catalogs), by the included service of Ariba with the suppliers (supplier-maintained catalogs) or vie what we call spot buy (pulling from global marketplaces such as eBay). All of this, of course, governed by the buying company who deploys this solution to its employees.
