I hope you like the video guys, please feel free to drop a comment or give a like, it would mean a lot to me.
I love that classy design. (I'm a sucker for roman numerals and blued hands). I think a dark blue strap would suit this watch perfectly.
@@MrPleers indeed! I just didn't have one at the time of the video :(
Thanks to you, I am now a happy Stowa owner 😊 Got the same model except i chose the center seconds version. The watch is amazing, and looks even better in person.
@@_AQUILA enjoy it in good health! Great addition to any collection
Beautiful watch, big fan of Stowa.
Thanks for watching! Stowa is definitely a great brand to be a fan of :)
A very well-made review. Thank you very much.
Thank you very much! I really appreciate the comment ;)
Thank you for this review, it is my first time seeing the model and I love it. I'm a sucker for Roman numerals 😊
I'm happy that you liked it! If you get the chance to get your hands on one of them, I can only recommend it!
Please.. I encourage you (.. more like beg)... Please create more and more content. Like flood your channel. I love your content.
I love seeing reviews from brands that are yet to be known.
Im so tired of Rolex, Tudor, Omega, etc.... I want to see and discover more of the brands you feature.
Thank you!

Ohh thanks a lot man, that really means a lot! This week I'm a bit busy, but I will update something new on Monday at the latest, or today if I get the chance.
Thx for the Video. Ím also in love with this one. Can you Tell me something about the movement? How is it calibrated?
@@frankjirmann7426 I believe it's calibrated in three different positions, but to be honest I have no real knowledge about it, this article is quite a good read! monochrome-watches.com/in-depth-history-eta-peseux-7001-hand-wound-classic-movement-technical-review/
Nice review but I have a question:
On the Stowa website it shows the watch with a different, much bigger onion style crown.
The watch you show in the video doesnt have that crown.
Do you know why?
Thanks for the question! I do believe they updated their crown design in 2022, but I'll reconfirm with them and update you as soon as I hear back ;)
Also with different movement
@@mike_dunnoNot sure I know what you mean by that?
I just received the answer:
Greetings from STOWA and thank you for your email.
Yes, we did update the crown on the Marine Classic models. It used to be an option between the flat and the onion crown. Now we exclusively offer the onion crown on the Marine models.
Please feel free to contact me for any further questions.
I wish you a nice day.
With best regards from the Black Forest.

@@watchthewatch3354 thank you for getting in contact with them :)
Excuse me, I'm a bit confused. Title says that this is a chronograph, how so? No pushers, no complications apart from subseconds. I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, i'm pretty new to watches
Wow you're right! I meant chronometer and had a faux pas. I edited the title so there can be no confusion. Thanks for pointing it out!
Also: There are no stupid questions, or at least, yours was not one of them!
Thanks for the review. I agree it’s a lovely watch, though I have the exact same gripes as you do!
On a related note: where did you get that croc strap and clasp?
Thanks for the comment! The strap is from Tusenö (clearance sale, great price), and they actually still have some in stock! I would strongly recommend you get one if you fancy it, as they will not restock them and likely there are not that many left: tuseno.com/products/leather-strap-brown-1
@@watchthewatch3354 bargain! Thank you!
Any thoughts on this Stowa Marine 36 Roman versus the Nomos Ludwig 35? When purchased brand-new, the Nomos is quite a bit more expensive, but on the used market, they are surprisingly close.
Good question. I was cold to the Ludwig originally, but the design has grown on me. I do feel like the Stowa has a bit more personality, while the Nomos is a bit more sterile. You can't go wrong with any of them, but you may have to poke around the net more to find a Stowa. Maybe that and the fact that prices don't drop as much for this one can also be an argument in itself :D
Good luck with the decision and let me know! I'm curious now
Are you sure the Nomos Tangente has the same movement?
"had" would be more accurate. Up until 2005, if memory doesn't fail me, Nomos was using the Peseux, they then moved to their in-house alphas and the rest.
What’s a “marine” watch ?
These printed dials are a joke, they look like $35 quartz watches from aliexpress. In this price range, the dial should have applied indices on a mother of pearl dial as an example.
Chinese watches and invicta does auto / mechanical watches with beautiful dials from $100 > $300 with nh 35 movements. A printed dial for $1k, laughable, NOPE.
Thanks for the comment! Are you familiar with the Cartier Tank Solo? :)
I agree with you that applied indexes/numerals often have a better feel, but I'd be lying if I said that the 35 bucks watches have the same appearance/feel as this dial. Not by a long shot, I hope you get the chance to check one of these in real life! And a watch is not only a dial ;)
Nevertheless, I totally see your point! Hope to see you around the channel again!
