If dark ruler had the no special summon it'd likely be used less
It would be absurd in Floowandereeze and probably nothing else
The decks that runs Dark Ruler are combo decks that have a hard time going 2nd like Synchron or going 2nd decks that focus on breaking a board and forcing the game into grind game like Mekk-Knights, it would absolutely see way less play if it didn't allow you to special summon

Mr. Logs, to resolve Linear Equation Cannon requires your opponent to control an _Effect_ Monster of the appropriate level.
You might want to specify that in the question.

I lost it for like 5 minutes when he said that Cyberdark End Dragon wouldn't get destroyed by Ultimate Creature of Destruction. I actually had to pull up the ruling's page to make sure I wasn't going insane
EDIT: Apparently I need to clarify because people keep misreading my comment. There were only two answers that could possibly be correct, because Blue-Eyes was never getting destroyed regardless. When he initially removed the correct answer, that was when I thought I was going crazy and I had to double check and make sure I wasn't losing my mind
I actually got halfway through typing out a correction when I thought to myself "wait, maybe it was just a mistake" and kept watching

Effect that will be applied after a BEWD monster battles is non activated effect

I think the last question can be summarised by the idea of activation of an effect vs resolution of an effect.
The trap is activated during the main phase (probably) then the effect resolves during the damage step (probably)

Technically speaking, the question with Silent Wobby has 2 right answers
Hear me out on this
"Owner" is not the same thing as "controller". The "original controller" isn't really a thing that's used on card effects, but it implies that the card has changed sides *on the field* at some point. Silent Wobby does not do this, it summon itself directly to the opponent's field
Because of this, your opponent would be dictated as the "original controller" because you never controlled it at any point
Does this mean both players gain 2K and draw?
@@theluckygamer10 No, he's correct in assuming that the controller draws a card and the controller's opponent gains 2000 LP
He's just using the wrong terminology. The original controller would technically be whoever first controlled Silent Wobby on their side of the field, rather than the original owner, who would be the person who added the Silent Wobby to their deck during deck building
So technically, Silent Wobby does make its original controller draw 1 card, and makes their hand size become 3, because the original "controller" would be the opponent of the original "owner"
Pretty sure for the linear equation cannon, any numbers would resolves the effect, just one the number would line up to the desired effect.

To be fair, that "which of these cards is Dragon type?" question was one of the hardest ones. If you don't know the cards already you can't really work it out seeing as they all have 'Dragon' in their names. Question 15 by contrast was easy. It's a lingering effect, not an activated effect, so Cyberdark End Dragon can be affected and gets destroyed.
Linear Equation Cannon has no place in a children's card game. As soon as I finished high school I decided I was done with math forever.

If you read ANY card relating to Supreme King ZARC,
you know INSTANTLY the "supreme king" card would have to be dragon!
Linear Equation Cannon is only clunky to use, it's effect is a trivial calculation:
[the number you call] times [the level of an effect monster your opponent controls] plus [the total number of cards they control] is supposed to equal [the number of cards in your graveyard].
That _you_ want nothing to do with maths is your loss.

The dragon question is easy if you are familiar with shaddoll
All shaddoll are spellcaster and blowback dragon are in the dark machine archetype in yugioh DM so only darkwurm and cloudian dragon

Hey DuelLogs, is it possible to join the show even if youre not really famous? I am the creator of a card game that hasnt been published yet called "Battle of the Legends" (that has some unique mechanics but take inspiration from yugioh, hearthstone and duel masters) if that helps :P

Aki Izayoi in season 1 and 2 of 5Ds is probably the best written character in all of Yugioh. After season 2 she’s trash tier I agree but that’s because the new head writer for seasons 3-5 was a moron.
Also I’m specifically talking about the sub. Obviously the Dubs of all Yugioh series are terrible.
I disagree on the being a moron thing due to things like just how good Aporra was and stuff like Lifestream coming to life but totally agree with you in terms of Aki. I also hate how they completely abandoned Jack and Carly.
